ESPNews and ESPNU will combine to televise four NBA G League playoff games from the first two rounds. The G League will follow a new four-round, 12-team playoff format that will begin with three single-elimination rounds before culminating with a best of three NBA G League Finals, which will be played in a one-one-one format.
On Saturday, March 31, the Lakeland Magic and Byron Mullens will visit the Erie Bayhawks and Josh Magette at 3 p.m. ET on ESPNews. Chris Hughes and analyst Alex Womer will provide commentary. At 5:15 p.m., the Oklahoma City Blue and Daniel Hamilton will host the South Bay Lakers and Gary Payton II on ESPNews with Ed Murray calling the action.
ESPNU will air two conference semifinals on Tuesday, April 3 starting with the Westchester Knicks and Nigel Hayes hosting either the Grand Rapids Drive or Raptors 905 at 7 p.m. with Bill Hazen and analyst Jaren Jackson on the call. At 9 p.m., the Reno Bighorns and JaKarr Sampson will host either the South Bay Lakers or the Oklahoma City Blue with Dan Gustin and analyst Eathan O’Bryant as the broadcast team.
Future games from the NBA G League Conference Finals and Finals will be announced at a later date on ESPN Media Zone.
All NBA G League telecasts on ESPNews and ESPNU will also be streamed on the ESPN App.
