  • ABC NBA Playoffs Sunday Doubleheader: First Round Game 7’s and/or Second Round Game 1’s
  • NBA Playoffs Part of Another Significant Weekend of Major Live Events Across ESPN Platforms, Including NFL Draft and Sunday Night Baseball Featuring New York Yankees-Los Angeles Angels

ESPN will televise three NBA Playoffs first round Game 6’s on Friday, April 27. At 8 p.m. ET, the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James will visit the Indiana Pacers and Victor Oladipo. The Cavaliers currently lead their series 3-2. The telecast airs on ESPN with Mike Breen, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson, and reporter Lisa Salters calling the action. At 10:30 p.m., the Oklahoma City Thunder and Russell Westbrook will visit the Utah Jazz and Donovan Mitchell on ESPN. The Jazz currently lead 3-2. Mark Jones will handle play-by-play with analyst and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Hubie Brown and reporter Israel Gutierrez.

At 7 p.m., the Toronto Raptors – led by DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry – will visit the Washington Wizards and John Wall and Bradley Beal. The Raptors currently lead the best of seven series 3-2. The telecast will air on ESPNEWS and will also be simulcast on NBA TV. The team of Dave Pasch, analyst Doris Burke and reporter Cassidy Hubbarth will provide commentary.

In addition, ESPN will produce NBA Playoffs broadcasts on ABC this Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. ET. The games will be a combination of first round Game 7’s and/or second round Game 1’s. An updated schedule will be available late Friday night. NBA Countdown presented by Straight Talk Wireless will precede Sunday’s doubleheader at 12:30 p.m. Michelle Beadle will host the show with analysts Jalen Rose, Chauncey Billups and Paul Pierce. All ESPN and ABC NBA games will also be streaming on the ESPN App.

The third episode of Detail, the high-level basketball analysis and film study show from five-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant’s Granity Studios, will be available exclusively on ESPN+ on Monday, April 30. Bryant will break down one of the ABC games from Sunday.

NFL Draft

The five NBA Playoffs game telecasts will be part of another significant weekend of major live sports events across ESPN platforms. ESPN will present the NFL Draft for the 39th consecutive year beginning with dual-network coverage of Round 1 on Thursday, April 26, at 8 p.m. from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to present Rounds 2-3 on Friday, April 27, and then ESPN and ABC will both televise Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 28. Wingo will host Rounds 2-7 with Kiper, McShay, Riddick, Mortensen and Schefter.

Sunday Night Baseball: New York Yankees at Los Angeles Angels

On April 28, ESPN will televise perhaps its most-anticipated edition of Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell of the early 2018 season as the New York Yankees visit the Los Angeles Angels. The star-studded matchup is scheduled to include Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, plus Albert Pujols continues his pursuit of the 3,000 career hits milestone this weekend. Matt Vasgersian will call the exclusive telecast, alongside analysts Alex Rodriguez and Jessica Mendoza and reporter Buster Olney. Sunday Night Baseball is also available on ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio and the ESPN App.
