ESPN’s live presentation of every game of the 2019 WNBA Playoffs—a total of 15 games—will begin Wednesday, Sept. 11, with a first round, single-elimination doubleheader on ESPN2. Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury will visit Diamond DeShields and Chicago Sky at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Minnesota Lynx and Napheesa Collier visiting Seattle Storm and Jewell Loyd at 10 p.m. The first game will be called by Ryan Ruocco, Rebecca Lobo and reporter Holly Rowe while the second matchup will be called by Pam Ward, LaChina Robinson and Kim Adams. Three-time WNBA MVP Sheryl Swoopes and five-time WNBA All-Star Katie Douglas will serve as studio analysts throughout the playoffs.
The semifinals will tip off Tuesday, Sept. 17, with every game of this year’s postseason airing on the ESPN networks. Additional highlights:
- Coaches will be mic’d up during the first and second rounds and semifinals of the Playoffs, while coaches and select players will be mic’d up during The Finals.
The Semifinals will continue with Games 2 on Thursday, Sept. 19, on ESPN2, at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Games 3 will play on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., with both games on ESPN2. The WNBA Finals will begin on Sunday, Sept. 29. All games will also stream live on the ESPN app.
