College football returns in full Super Hero mode this season on ESPN with a robust schedule that is unrivaled and unmatched in the industry. To celebrate, ESPN and Marvel have unveiled four comic book covers that feature school mascots facing off over Labor Day weekend. For the fifth consecutive year, ESPN and Marvel have teamed up to create one-of-a-kind artwork that pays homage to classic Marvel covers.
Additionally, ESPN and Marvel have created two behind-the-scenes videos that highlight the creative process of bringing these unique visions to life.
ESPN college football analyst and reporter Maria Taylor also joined Marvel’s Women of Marvel podcast to discuss the launch and the upcoming college football season. The episode is available now at www.marvel.com/podcasts.

ESPN’s first three-week schedule launches a regular season-long campaign, culminating with six conference championship games and leading into a postseason featuring 35 Bowl Games – including the New Year’s Six – and the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T. ESPN will also air every snap of the NCAA Division I Football Championship.
