The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the first round of performing artists for the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards.
Attendees and viewers are in for a treat as this year’s line up includes vocalists that cross genres and generations. On the list are CeCe Winans, Crowder, Joseph Habedank, Maverick City Music with Naomi Raine, Natalie Grant, Forrest Frank, and Tauren Wells.

Wells, who is set to host for the second year in a row, announced the performers Tuesday on SiriusXM – The Message.
Excitement is high as fans anticipate what their favorite artists on the roster will perform. Supporters predict CeCe Winans’ will bless the crowd with her rendition of “Holy Forever,” “Goodness of God,” “Worthy Of It All,” or a record from her latest album, “More Than This.” Winans is nominated for three awards this year. Artist of the Year, Gospel Worship Album of the Year, and Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year for her single “That’s My King.” “Lead Us Again” by DOE, “All Yours” by Kierra Sheard (ft. Anthony Brown), “Fill The Room” by Michael Bethany, and “The Story I’ll Tell (Live)” by Naomi Raine also snagged nominations in this category.
It’s always a surprise with Maverick City Music as the collective ministers with a variety of anointed singers and musicians. With Naomi Raine scheduled to be in tow they may perform “Jireh,” “The Story I’ll Tell,” or the hit duet featuring Joe L. Barnes, “Promises.”
Maverick City Music is up for Gospel Worship Album of the Year for their release, “The Maverick Way Complete.” In addition to “More Than This” by CeCe Winans, “Overflow” by Michael Bethany, “Cover The Earth (Live in New York)” by Naomi Raine, and “The Journey” by Todd Dulaney are in the running for the award.
