Here we go again.

Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, better known as Diamond and Silk, have proclaimed that the number of COVID-19 cases are being inflated to make President Trump look bad, according to The Grio.

The sisters are known for their undying love and support for President Donald Trump and have capitalized on that to gain fame. In a Facebook Live video earlier this week, based on media reports of the rising death total due to the new coronavirus, the pair said that the media are lying about the numbers coming in. They numbers, they claim, are being reported to maket Trump look bad.

“In a matter of two weeks, over 1,000 people supposedly died from the coronavirus. In a two-week time period, over 1,000 people after being tested positive have died from the coronavirus,” Silk said. She pointed to a 39-day stretch from January until the end of February when she said the first person in the U.S. died of COVOID-19.

“Here’s another thing,” Silk started.

 “Come on…,” Diamond said.

“My president said on March the 24th, Tuesday this past week, my president said that he would love for America to be back up and running,” Silk said.

“I knew this was going to happen,” Diamond said, “I knew after he said this was going to happen. Go ahead.”

“At the time, he said it there was 25,489 cases with 307 deaths,” Silk said. “Instantaneously, you had the media calling President Trump out, he want it open by Easter, he want this open by Easter—me and you was talking, I said, ‘Now watch the number of deaths go up. Watch everything increase because they want to make it look bad in front of our eyes.’”

Diamond and Silk are not the first to claim the media and the Democrats have conspired to humiliate President Trump. Fox News correspondent Sean Hannity spent March labeling the pandemic, as Trump did, a “hoax.” His colleague, Laura Ingraham, initially gave Trump praise for not taking the pandemic seriously.
