Today’s show: “Deborah Willis: In Pursuit of Beauty: Imaging Closets in Newark and Beyond” is on view at the Shine Portrait Studio in Newark, New Jersey, through Friday, December 21. The solo exhibition, curated by Kalia Brooks Nelson, presents more than 60 new and recent by the artist and NYU professor. (The exhibition space was James Van Der Zee’s professional photography studio in 1911.)
