The Food Forum will host a workshop that will explore current innovations in the food system. Workshop presenters will discuss the dimensions of food systems and how to utilize innovations to meet the needs of small and large supply chains to support decision-making. This event will be held at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW., from 8:30 a.m., Wednesday through Thursday at noon.

2019 LOC Summer Movies on the Lawn

The series is part of the Library’s annual programming theme to explore America’s changemakers. It kicks off with Walt Disney’s first live-action movie to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture and ends with the first film in which computer-generated characters interacted with human actors on screen. Come out and view for free at Thomas Jefferson Building. 10 First Street SE., from 8:30 to 11:30 P.M.
