AHA posted on Instagram, encouraging people to “call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the rhythm of ‘Not Like Us.’” The post was captioned: “Mustard on the beat… and it could help you save a life with Hands-Only CPR. #KendrickLamar #NotLikeUs #NationofLifesavers #CPR.”
The song has 101 beats per minute, aligning with the recommended rhythm for chest compressions.
Similarly, they revealed that Beyoncé’s —2025 Album of the Year Grammy Winner — hit “Texas Hold ‘Em” (at 110 beats per minute) is perfectly suited for hands-only CPR. AHA wrote:
“Park your Lexus and throw your keys up cuz @Beyonce finally got that Album of the Year win. 👑 So crank up ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and remember that if you see a teen or adult collapse, Hands-Only CPR is your best chance to save their life. Call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest. #Beyonce #CowboyCarter #Grammys #NationofLifesavers #HeartMonth.”
