CeeDee Lamb has officially signed a record-breaking four-year contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys, making him the 2nd highest-paid non-QB in NFL history. The $136 million deal includes a massive $38 million signing bonus, the largest ever for a wide receiver.
Lamb’s decision to hold out from spring games and practices, accruing fines of nearly $50,000 per day, underscored his determination to secure a contract that reflects his value. With the negotiations now successfully concluded, the focus shifts to the team’s future performance and Lamb’s continued impact on the field.
Drafted with the 17th pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft, Lamb has already made a significant mark, earning three Pro Bowl selections. He dominated the league in 2022 and 2023 with 242 receptions, the most by any NFL player during that period.
Next on the Cowboys’ negotiation agenda is Dak Prescott, who is also nearing the end of his contract. The success of Lamb’s extension sets a promising precedent for future deals and highlights the Cowboys’ commitment to retaining top talent.
Stay tuned as CeeDee Lamb aims to elevate his game and continue making history with the Dallas Cowboys.
