The stars of a sizzling new Starz series, and its creators celebrated the show’s debut with a premier, conversation and red carpet in New York City Monday. Radio/TV personality Jazmyn Summers was there to get the tea on this cutting-edge drama of female empowerment and sexuality which drops Friday, September 13th.
Blair Underwood, attended with his beautiful wife Josie Hart and showed mad PDA all night long.
“It’s about three women at the crossroads of their lives in the decisions they make” he shared about the series. “It gets exciting. It gets precarious. It gets provocative. It is by women for women, but I think men will like it too, just like Sex and the City.”

The show has some racy sex scenes. Blair plays Richard, the husband of Sloane (DeWanda Wise).  The couple enjoys Sloane bringing home other lovers. Richard likes to watch. But does that last? You’ll have to watch to find out.

“I was kind of reluctant just because of some of the stuff we had to do, but they put me at ease,” revealed Blair. “The women made us all feel very comfortable.”
DeWanda Wise, who is known for her groundbreaking role in Spike Lee’s “Shes’ Gotta Have It”,  plays a sophisticated, wealthy, and sensuous woman. She remarked she was transformed by the experience and was able to “borrow Sloane’s power.”
“If you’re a woman, if you’ve been surrounded by other multifaceted women, you understand that someone can seemingly have it all but still feel ravenous and empty, desperate and hungry. Especially people, in the age of social media, where it’s all just appearance. Everything looks great, but you don’t know what’s actually going on in people’s lives, “she said.

The series stars Shailene Woodley, Gabrielle CreevyJohn Patrick AmedoriJason Ralph, and Blair Redford, It’s based on the best-selling book “Three Women” by author, series creator and executive producer Lisa Taddeo.
