ESPN will televise and cover college football’s biggest matchups in week 11, headlined by the Big Ten matchup of undefeated teams when No. 5 Penn State travels to No. 13 Minnesota in the Samsung QLED 4K Game of the Week. The early November College Football Playoff implication matchup begins a game slate in which No. 4 Clemson’s perfect record is on the line at NC State on ABC’s Saturday Night Football and No. 6 Georgia hosts Missouri as both teams remain in contention for an SEC Championship trip. Saturday begins with College GameDay Built by The Home Depot and SEC Nation both originating from Tuscaloosa, Ala. in advance of No. 1 LSU at No. 2 Alabama.

This weekend’s slate will be played under the backdrop of the sport’s 150th birthday, which is Wednesday, Nov. 6, and following the first College Football Playoff rankings reveal on Tuesday, Nov. 5 (approx. 9 p.m.). More details on both can be found below and also here.

Undefeated No. 13 Minnesota Boasts Best Start Since 1941,No. 5 Nittany Lions’ Best in More than a Decade ABC’s Saturday slate begins with the Nittany Lions-Golden Gophers matchup (noon ET), as Minnesota (8-0) looks to build upon its best start since 1941. The Nittany Lions’ start (8-0) represents their best since 2008 and is the fourth time the Nittany Lions have won their first eight games since 1993. Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe will be at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for the call of the game.

No. 4 Clemson Faces Final Conference Road Test of the Season
ABC’s Saturday Night Football features the undefeated No. 4 Clemson Tigers (9-0), as the reigning CFP National Champions travel to NC State (7:30 p.m.) for their final conference road test of the season. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be in Raleigh, N.C. for the call of the game. A Pac-12 showdown between USC and Arizona State (3:30 p.m.) will lead into the ACC Matchup on ABC. Jason Benetti, Rod Gilmore and Quint Kessenich will be in Tempe, Ariz., for the call.

No. 6 Georgia Sits Atop SEC East, Hosts Missouri Who Remains in Contention; No. 10 Florida Leads into No. 20 Kansas State
Georgia sits alone atop the SEC East while the Missouri Tigers could play their way back into SEC Championship picture when the two schools meet on ESPN (7 p.m.). Beginning the day, No. 10 Florida will host Vanderbilt (noon) followed by No. 20 Kanas State at Texas (3:30 p.m.). Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Todd McShay and Molly McGrath will be in Athens, Ga., while Bob Wischusen, Dan Orlovsky and Allison Williams are in Gainesville, Fla.. Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Tom Luginbill will be in Austin.

No.15 Notre Dame at Duke on ACC Network
The No. 15 Fighting Irish will travel to Duke (7:30 p.m) for ACC Network Primetime Football on ACC Network with Dave O’Brien, Tim Hasselbeck and Katie George on the call from Durham, N.C. The Huddle will originate from Wallace Wade Stadium on Saturday morning (11 a.m. – noon)

ESPN Celebrates College Football’s 150th Birthday by Unveiling Sport’s 150 Greatest Games, Amplifying Season-Long CFB150 Initiative

College football’s 150th birthday is Wednesday, Nov. 6, and to mark the occasion ESPN will amplify its season-long, multi-platform College Football 150 celebration throughout the week. The sport’s 150 greatest games were revealed this morning, beginning a week that will include ESPN’s Monday Night Football recognizing the anniversary; The American Game examining “Games of the Century”; The Greatest debating the sport’s biggest upsets; and a special ESPN CFB150 Showcase Game between MAC East Division leaders Miami (Ohio) and Ohio on the night of the anniversary, among many other elements. College Football Playoff Committee Rankings Revealed Exclusively on ESPN

The night before the sport’s birthday, Tuesday, Nov. 5, ESPN will look to the immediate future, as the College Football Playoff committee’s first rankings will be revealed at approximately 9 p.m. between games of the Champions Classic exclusively on ESPN Tuesday night (approx. 9 p.m. ET).

ESPN CFB150 Showcase Games: Miami (Ohio) at Ohio and Princeton vs. Dartmouth from Yankee Stadium
ESPN will air two ESPN CFB150 Showcase Games this week, beginning with Miami (Ohio) at Ohio on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. (ESPN2) and continuing with Princeton vs. Dartmouth in a battle of Ivy League undefeated teams on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 3:30 p.m. (ESPNU) from Yankee Stadium.

Both games have intriguing storylines, as Ohio head coach Frank Solich enters the game with 110 conference victories, tying him for the most ever among MAC head coaches. A win will make him the all-time winningest coach in the conference.  For the Ivy League matchup, both teams enter the game with 7-0 overall records and 4-0 conference records. Additionally, the Tigers have won 17 consecutive games, while the Big Green have won 19 of the last 20, with their only blemish being against Princeton last season.  Overall, this will be the 98th matchup in a series which began in 1903, with the Big Green holding an 49-44-4 all-time advantage.

On Wednesday, a special College Football Countdown (7:30 p.m. on ESPN2) precedes the MAC game. Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard is in the booth along with Matt Barrie and Holly Rowe.  ESPN Senior Writer Ivan Maisel, the Editor-at-Large of ESPN College Football 150, will also join the telecast.
