Atlantis, the 5-star hotel costing up to $52,000 a night on the man-made Palm island in Dubai, is welcoming more than 1,000 people from art and technology today for what has been dubbed the Middle East’s biggest blockchain summit.
The World of WEB3 (WOW) Summit, which will take place from 14-15 October, will also launch an NFT auction, with more than a hundred NFT projects put up for sale.
Art world figures in attendance include Dimitri Ozerkov, the head of contemporary art at Saint Petersburg’s Hermitage museum; Phil Murphy, the strategy lead at NFT art marketplace SuperRare; Mara Firetti, the founder of Dabai's Firetti Gallery; and Vladimir Opredelenov, the deputy director for information technologies at Moscow’s Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. They will join the CEOs of the world’s biggest blockchain companies as well as a crowd of angel investors.
Global crypto regulations and asset management will be high on the agenda of topics discussed at the summit, and will be organised by Yury Sinozatsky.
