ArtTable, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the professional development of women in the visual arts, has added six members to its national board of directors: Susan Delvalle, Kat Griefen, Lesley Heller, Julia P. Herzberg, Nina del Rio, and Masha Turchinsky.

The new members are each brought on for a three-year term that is renewable; they join the 22 current board members at the organization. The six women join as four are leaving: Alyson Baker, Naomi Beckwith, Dorothy Goldeen, and Jennifer Francis.

In the nonprofit realm, Delvalle currently serves as president and executive director of Creative Capital, and Turchinsky holds the directorship of the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, New York. On the market front, Griefen and Heller are dealers located in New York, and del Rio is senior vice president, head of department for museum, private, and corporate art services. And Herzberg is an art historian and curator who has organized exhibitions internationally.

ArtTable’s board president, Whitney Rutter, said in a release, “We are thrilled and honored to have such an outstanding group of women join our board this year. I am confident that their contributions will have a positive impact on shaping ArtTable’s future, and that together we’ll continue we expand opportunities for women from diverse backgrounds and at all stages of their careers in the field of visual arts.”
