After kicking off with The SCORE Baja 500, the July programming on World of X Games shifts to get fans ready for the third year of X Games Minneapolis, with behind the scenes looks at the two qualifiers held in June – skateboard and BMX park in Boise, Idaho and Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing in Industry Hills, California. Additionally, viewers will get up close and personal with some of the biggest names in action sports through the X Games Minneapolis Being Series and the X Games Minneapolis Preview Show.
The SCORE Baja 500
Airs: 7/6 at 2 p.m. ET on ABC
The 51st SCORE Baja 500 is the next step in the four-race 2019 SCORE World Desert Championship Series. This radically rugged course will test these racers and push them to their limits. Starting and ending at the beautiful Estero Beach in Ensenada, Baja California, this loop race is the epitome of beauty and the beast.
Road to X Games: Boise Park Qualifier 2019
Airs: 7/13 at 2 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC
As part of the Road to X Games content series, X Games hosted the world’s top athletes in a Park Qualifier event on June 29 to secure their invitation to X Games Minneapolis. Held at Rhodes Skate Park in Boise, Idaho, the Road to X Games: Boise Park Qualifier featured three Park disciplines — BMX and Men’s & Women’s Skateboard. The top six athletes in Men’s Skateboard Park and BMX Park and top five in Women’s Skateboard Park earned an invite to X Games Minneapolis, with Heimana Reynolds, Marcus Christopher and Misugu Ogawa taking the top spots.
X Games Minneapolis 2019 Being Series
Airs: 7/20 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC
The Being Series profiles established action sports athletes at the top of their game, in sport and in life. The athletes featured in the upcoming Being Series are French double gold Moto X athlete Thomas Pagès and California skateboarder Chris Joslin, Moto X rider Colby Raha and Wisconsin’s own Mykel Larrin.
X Games Minneapolis 2019 Preview Show
Airs: 7/28 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC
The X Games Minneapolis Preview show will provide fans a look ahead to all the action sports competitions, festival and musical performances leading into the third year at U.S. Bank Stadium. X Games host Jack Mitrani, alongside Brandon Graham and other key talent, will highlight this year’s athletes to watch as well as preview musical performances by SWMRS, Chevy Metal, Wu-Tang Clan, P.O.S, Diplo, The Blind Shake and Incubus.
Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing Qualifier
Airs: 7/28 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC
More than 100 riders from across the country were invited to compete in the Harley-Davidson Hooligan Qualifier in Industry Hills, California. The top 48 qualifiers received an invite to X Games Minneapolis 2019, including two sets of father and son and another pair of brothers.
