Day Two at Wimbledon will conclude the first round Tuesday, July 2, and #3 Rafael Nadal will headline the matches on ESPN+ which will offer 14 courts. He plays Yuichi Sagita. Also on the No. 1 Court, #1 Ash Barty faces Saisai Zheng and #19 Jo Konta of Britain plays Ana Bogdan. ESPN is presenting all the Wimbledon action exclusively in the U.S. with ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN3.
Overall, ESPN+ will stream live matches from 14 courts: 1, 4-10, 12 and 14-18.
Meanwhile, ESPN will present 10.5 hours of coverage, featuring defending champion #5 Angelique Kerber, eight-time champion and #2 Roger Federer and #11 Serena Williams who counts seven Wimbledons among her 23 Major titles. Others include Maria Sharapova; Americans #9 Sloane Stephens, Sam Querrey and #9 John Isner; plus #5 Dominic Thiem, #6 Petra Kvitova and #8 Garbine Muguruza.
ESPN & Wimbledon
As in 2018, every match from the 18 courts at the All England Lawn Tennis Club will be played in front of cameras. ESPN’s coverage – first ball to last ball – includes 145 hours on television plus more than 500 matches all available for fans between ESPN+ and ESPN3 on the ESPN app. The action will climax with the Ladies’ Championship and the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Doubles Championships on ESPN on Saturday, July 13, and the Gentlemen’s Championship on Sunday, July 14, followed by the Mixed Doubles Championship.
