Get Up host Mike Greenberg will be doing double-headers in early July as the show offers several afternoon specials to keep fans on top of all the latest sports news. In addition to Get Up’s morning shows, which will air on ESPN2 in the normal 8-10 a.m. ET slot due to Wimbledon coverage, Get Up will also air afternoon programs during the first week of July (except for July 4) from 4:30-6 p.m. ET on ESPN.

As always, Greenberg will be joined by various guest experts and analysts for the afternoon specials, covering all the latest sports topics. There will be an added focus on NBA free agency with appearances from ESPN’s team of insiders including Stephen A. Smith, Adrian Wojnarowski, Ramona Shelburne, Brian Windhorst and others, along with expert analysis from Jalen Rose, Jay Williams and Richard Jefferson.

“Everyone at Get Up has been really happy with how the show is evolving, and these upcoming afternoon specials are just another chance for us to connect with sports fans and give them the insight and information they are looking for, on the current stories they care about,” said Greenberg. “This NBA free agency period will offer a lot of drama and excitement for viewers, and I’m looking forward to discussing it all with some of the best talent covering the league. It’s going to be a busy week for our whole team and we’re ready!”

More and more sports fans are tuning in to Get Up to start their days, as the show is on track for four consecutive months of ratings growth, with increases in the double digits from April through June. Driven by Get Up, ESPN is the #1 cable network from 8-10 a.m. among M18-34 and M18-49 through this point in June. It is also the #1 cable network for P18-49.

Get Up originates from ESPN’s NYC studio and airs live from 8-10 a.m. ET on ESPN, re-airing each day at 10 a.m. on ESPN2.
