A Houston high school principal has had it with du-rags, revealing garb, the wearing of pajamas, sagging pants and other forms of dressing down on school grounds and has banned all of it — not by students, but by parents.

James Madison High School implemented a new dress code policy earlier this month that sets standards that parents must meet in order to gain entry into the school or attend events on school premises, according to Newsweek.

Principal Carlotta Outley Brown sent a letter to the students’ families and also posted on the school’s website informing them of the new dress code, which also forbids hair rollers, shower caps, bonnets and clothes that show too much skin. The principal said the policy is important to demonstrate to students the appropriate attire allowed in school.
