The Orlando Magic and the Charlotte Hornets tip off this season’s final NBA doubleheader on ESPN beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday Apr. 10. Mark Jones will be courtside at Spectrum Center with analyst Doris Burke and reporter Israel Gutierrez. In the 10:30 p.m. nightcap, Dave Pasch will call the action with analyst Jeff Van Gundy when the Utah Jazz visit the Los Angeles Clippers.
NBA Countdown, ESPN’s NBA pregame show, will tip off Wednesday’s doubleheader at 7:00 p.m. as host Michelle Beadle joins analysts Chauncey Billups, Paul Pierce and Stan Van Gundy to preview the games and give halftime reports. ESPN Analyst Jalen Rose met up with Utah Jazz center, Rudy Gobert, to discuss Utah’s playoff aspirations and Gobert’s hope to repeat as Defensive Player of the Year in a feature that will air on NBA Countdown Wednesday.
The Jump, ESPN’s hour-long NBA news and discussion show, airs weekly with host Rachel Nichols, featuring a cast of high-profile analysts, reporters and guests. On Friday Apr. 12 at 3 p.m., The Jump will air a special 30- minute playoff preview episode on ESPN2 to begin ESPN’s 2019 NBA playoff coverage.
Following The Jump, ESPN Senior NBA Insider, Adrian Wojnarowski and Senior NBA Writer, Zach Lowe, talk all things NBA, including the start of the playoffs, 2019 free agency and the biggest NBA storylines of the moment during Friday’s Woj & Lowe Show special. The 30-minute show airs at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN 2.
