LOS ANGELES, CA. October 09, 2018: Offset & Cardi B at the 2018 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theatre LA Live.
This weekend, Migos rapper Offset attempted to win back his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cardi B, by crashing her set at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles. The “No Complaints” spitter offered the mother of his child an apology, as well as a $15,000 “Take Me Back, Cardi” flower arrangement after confirming he entertained sleeping with other women. He also cheated on Cardi previously, with the “Money” rapper forgiving him the first time around.
Cardi was clearly irritated by the move, rejecting the gesture in front of the crowd. Offset later took to Twitter to explain his reasoning behind the decision.
“All my wrongs have been made public, I figure it’s only right that my apologies are made public too,” Offset wrote. “A n*gga was just trying….thank god I ain’t got no balloons sheesh.”

While Offset is the one asking for forgiveness, his step-father, who goes by Tony Pla on social media, believes Cardi’s need for “social media attention” plays a large role in the problems they’re having within the family, according to Facebook screenshots obtained by Baller Alert.
“Right now, my family is going through a very tumultuous time,” he allegedly wrote in an Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity group post. “What you see in the media is only the tip of the iceberg. Social media is a powerful tool, but certainly no place for family situations; however, our youth, specifically my son’s wife doesn’t understand that.”
He went on, “She seems to want to take everything to social media without regards to the devastation it has on others, past, present, and future or specially what it does to the other children. I say this not to say that my son is innocent, as he has done his share of dirt, but the whole scenario is a never-ending drama session.”
“People do and say hurtful things about my family members daily; specifically my child. While he ain’t perfect, he is mine and as a parent, I have a duty to protect him,” he added. “Right now, I cannot do that. Like most young adults, he doesn’t always do what he’s advised to do, but we are talking about a 25-year-old with an unlimited supply of money, women chasing him, people at his disposal, etc. Couple that with a hot-headed female that thrives off of social media attention and is on the same financial level as/above him and it’s a recipe for disaster.”
Tony also accused the “Bodak Yellow” rapper of releasing the first photo of baby Kulture “out of spite.”
“It was supposed to come out in [Offset’s] album. She basically screwed my whole family over that vowed not to release pictures to social media.”
