The third edition of the fair Untitled, Art in San Francisco will take place at Pier 35 on the city’s waterfront Embarcadero, from January 18 to 20, 2019. Last year’s fair was held at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, and the inaugural iteration in 2017 was held at Pier 70 in the Dogpatch neighborhood.

The new 75,000-square-foot space for next year will be able to accommodate the fair’s growing number of exhibitors, according to Manuela Mozo, executive director of Untitled, Art.

“It became apparent that, as challenging as it is to move close to the date of the fair, we were going to be able to provide a much stronger experience for not only our exhibitors but our visitors,” Mozo told ARTnews.

Mozo said that the new site’s rectangular, linear layout and proximity to public transportation and downtown San Francisco also informed the decision to move the fair.

“We are all extremely excited,” she said. “I really feel like the third time’s the charm and this is going to be our long-term home.”

Though the complete list of exhibitors has not yet been revealed, newcomers to the 2019 edition include Blain|Southern (London and Berlin), Bortolami (New York), Mariane Ibrahim Gallery (Seattle), and Galeria Enrique Guerrero (Mexico City).

Returning galleries include David Zwirner (New York, London, and Hong Kong), Andrew Kreps (New York), Tina Kim (New York), Eduardo Secci (Florence), and Chambers Fine Art (New York and Beijing).
