It’s been a long, rough road for younger fans of the “Star Wars” saga.
Many came into the Hollywood franchise with the less-than-satisfactory prequels of the early 2000s. We took steps forward with “Rebels,” “Rogue One” and “Force Awakens,” but then seemed to regress with “Last Jedi” and “Solo.”
