Christie’s has appointed Jennifer Zatorski as president, North and South America. She takes over the role from Brook Hazelton, who left the auction house last summer.

Zatorski has been at Christie’s for 25 years and was previously president of the auction house’s art departments. She has also worked in positions in Christie’s finance and business departments.

In a statement, Zatorski said, “Over my career, I have had the privilege of working with every specialist department and every part of the business. Working together with Marc Porter, my mission is to ensure that Christie’s in the Americas remains a superb place to work, to visit, and to connect with great art and objects.”

Guillaume Cerutti, the CEO of Christie’s, said of Zatorski in a statement, “I am delighted to appoint Jen as President, Christie’s North and South America. A consummate professional, her wisdom and insight is sought after and valued by colleagues across the company.”
