ESPN is now accepting media credential applications for The 2018 ESPYS taking place on Wednesday, July 18, in Los Angeles. The deadline for credential applications is Monday, July 2, 2018.
Who: Members of the press requesting to cover The 2018 ESPYS may apply for credentials online at http://bit.ly/ESPYSpresscreds.
In order to be approved for credentials, requests must be from working members of the media on editorial assignment. All freelancers must supply a letter of assignment on letterhead from their assigning editor with details of the coverage. Please send to [email protected].
What: The 2018 ESPYS will be hosted by trailblazing racecar driver Danica Patrick. The award show gathers top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports by recognizing major achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances.
The ESPYS honor ESPN’s commitment to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, a partnership launched with the late Jim Valvano at the inaugural ESPYS in 1993.
