With his four-year-long 'After Hours Til Dawn' stadium tour, The Weeknd brought in a whopping gross at over $1.3 billion.
Global pop sensation The Weeknd has a new record to add to his long list of accolades as his After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour becomes the highest-grossing by a male artist in history.
Following four long years on the road, his total gross after wrapping up in Malaysia on Thursday night (November 5) stands at over $1.3 billion.

According to Variety, tour promoter Live Nation confirmed the tally that put The Weeknd only behind Taylor Swift’s Eras tour at over $2 billion, and Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres that grossed over $1.5 billion. He replaces Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which took in over $939 million. Supported by three albums, a concert film and a steadily-rotating setlist from one leg to the next, the After Hours Til Dawn tour proved to be a smart business move just as much as it was a creative leap forward.
More below on how The Weeknd’s billion-dollar journey came to be, via Variety:
“Since kicking off in July 2022, the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour has spanned 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents, selling more than 9 million tickets as part of the $1.3 billion gross.
With legs spanning four years, the tour traveled across North America, Europe, the UK, Latin America, Australia and Asia, with the Weeknd returning for additional runs in nearly every territory; the tour sold more than 3 million tickets and grossing over $500 million in 2026 alone, according to the announcement.”
In addition to charitable donations that totaled $8.5 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen, he also raised $3 million this year for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Global Citizen.
Whenever a Black artist wins, we believe it’s also a win for the culture as well. The tour’s success also saw him breaking records per stadium, currently standing as the highest-grossing Black male artist to perform at MetLife Stadium, Lumen Field, NRG Stadium and his homeland Commonwealth Stadium. Paired with his support of global hunger relief and quality education for children, The Weeknd steps up both his artistry and influence in a way that we can definitely get behind.
