Baltimore could be a potential landing spot for veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs as trade speculation grows ahead of the NFL’s Nov. 10 deadline.
Diggs, who signed a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders during the offseason, could become a trade candidate following Washington’s disappointing 1-4-1 start.
Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame recently identified Baltimore and the Kansas City Chiefs as potential landing spots for the 32-year-old receiver if Washington decides to make a move.
Diggs has recorded 24 receptions for 244 yards and four touchdowns this season. Last year, he finished with 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns with the New England Patriots.
However, a move to Baltimore remains uncertain.
The Ravens were previously mentioned as a potential destination for Diggs during free agency, but The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reported that Baltimore wasn’t pursuing high-profile receivers, citing confidence in its young receiving corps led by Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.
Still, Washington hasn’t indicated that Diggs is available. Despite sitting last in the NFC East, the Commanders remain just two games behind the division-leading New York Giants, making a potential trade far from certain.
