“I have done nothing but support everyone on the Republican side, and this is how I get treated?” Thelma Lousie asked her followers on Oct. 17. The ardent supporters of MAGA candidates like Ken Paxton has pulled in more than 200,000 followers on TikTok alone.
A Black woman who has routinely advocated for President Donald Trump and is supporting Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in his Senate race against James Talarico says she was escorted out of a Paxton event in San Antonio on Sunday (Oct. 18), allegedly at the request of Paxton’s campaign manager.
The woman, who goes by Thelma Lousie on social media, has amassed over 200,000 followers on her TikTok. She says she was attending the Paxton event and documenting it for social media. She explained in a video she uploaded before and after the incident that she was excited to see Paxton and had driven two hours to see him. However, once she began filming, she says she was escorted out at the request of Paxton’s campaign manager.
Louise says she was not informed of a reason for her removal.
“Oh my gosh. I cannot believe this. Someone just came up to me and said that Ken Paxton’s campaign manager wanted me to leave,” she said. “I am just … My mouth is wide open right now. I really can’t believe this.

In a follow-up video, she explained that she left the Democratic Party in 2024 when she lived in Nevada and volunteered for Trump’s 2024 campaign, becoming part of his “Trump Force” as a captain. She also displayed media credentials for the Texas Youth Summit, which occurred earlier this month, and also for the Republican midterm convention, which took place in Dallas last month.
“There’s no excuse for treating me that way, because I didn’t do anything,” she said, while wondering if the reason for her removal was a case of mistaken identity. She added that she wasn’t blaming anyone within the Republican Party but took issue with Paxton’s campaign manager.
But the moment was enough for Lousie to say it would stick with her.
“This, I will never forget. Never. This was beyond disrespectful.”
