Jason Richardson Recalls Shaq Putting Teammate’s Mouth Guard In His Butt, Social Media Gags

Shaquille O’Neal isn’t just a four-time NBA champ and three-time NBA Finals MVP; he’s also an All-Star prankster.
Though he’s denied some of his most heinous acts, which were disguised as jokes, locker-room shenanigans from decades past have continued to leak out.
And now, thanks to an interview The Entirely NBA podcast did with former NBA player Jason Richardson—who played with Shaq on the Phoenix Suns—we have alleged evidence of Shaq being downright gross yet again, even towards the end of his career and in his late 30s.
This time, it was at the expense of Lou Amundson, who got into a prank battle with Big Diesel during his 2008-2010 tenure in Arizona.
Richardson says Shaq started off pretty harmless by hiding Amundson’s bike in the training facility.
“We had a guy on the team, my first year in Phoenix – Lou Amundson. He used to ride a bike to practice every day because he lived right across from the arena. Every time he rode his bike, Shaq would take it and hide it, somewhere in the arena. Every day after practice, Lou was on a scavenger hunt trying to find his bike,” Richardson said.
Eventually, Amundson got tired of searching for his bike after every practice and wanted revenge, even though his teammates warned him about the circulating rumors of Shaq’s disgusting pranks.
Amundson didn’t listen and instead filled Shaq’s van with popcorn, which was when the Lakers legend took things too far.
“The game happened. I come into the locker room, and I see Shaq. Shaq is walking around that locker room naked as nothing, real slow and tight,” he said. “And he pulls a mouthpiece out of his a-s and puts it in a locker. He told us, ‘Y’all better not say sh-t either.’ He takes Lou’s toothbrush, he goes to take a sh-t, and he stirs it in his sh-t. We like “We ain’t into this sh-t, this is getting out of hand.’”
Teammates like Richardson, Matt Barnes, Steve Nash, and Jared Dudley saw Amundson check into the game, slip his defiled mouthpiece in, and tried to tell him the truth, but he shrugged them off repeatedly, leading to the entire bench bursting out in laughter.
Eventually, Amundson asked Richardson if they were serious, and he advised him to toss everything from his locker into the trash.
