Kenya, located in the eastern region of Africa, has announced a visa exemption for citizens of almost every country in Africa allowing stays of up to two months. They have excluded Somalia and Libya for security reasons. This comes after Ghana‘s announcement at the beginning of 2025, at former President Nana Akufo-Addo’s final state-of-the-nation address, that they have lifted visa requirements to visit their country by other African passport holders.
