The trailer for season three of Harlem dropped and the gworls are back for one last hurrah. Camille, Quinn, Tye, and Angie haven’t given up on love or each other. The trailer picks up where the cliffhanger left us last season, wondering who from the group is pregnant. While we haven’t quite figured that out a few things have changed between the group. Angie is forging her career forward with an irreverent theater show, and Camille finds out Ian is dating his female friend, Portia. Tye has a budding romance with a character played by Gail Bean and Quinn appears to have found the one in Kofi Siriboe. Yasss girl!
While the trailer comes with excitement, fans are also saddened to discover this is the series’ last season. “TV continues to evolve, and we are in a different climate than we were in 2018, when I first sold the show. We were hit with several setbacks, including a pandemic shutdown in the middle of production and a strike and, honestly, surviving all of that is already a major blessing,” showrunner Tracy Oliver told ELLE.com. “That said, I’d go for many more seasons if it were up to me. But knowing this was the end going into it, I approached it with that in mind. I wanted everyone’s stories to feel satisfying, even if it’s not what the audience expected.”

Viewers of the show have taken to X (formally Twitter) to express their feelings about what feels like another cancellation of one of our shows. “Final season of Bel-Air Final season of Harlem It’s just not fair,” one user tweeted.
Even though it is the final season, we’re looking forward to seeing where the streets of Harlem take the ladies. Harlem season 3 premieres January 23 on Prime Video.
