Beyonce and Ella Mai have a few things in common, including their ability to slay a suit. Both ladies were spotted wearing Retrofete’s plaid skirt suit, bringing their personal style and flavor to the classic ensemble.
Ella Mai is a vocal powerhouse who stays under the radar until its time to pop out. The singer made a stylish appearance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, clad in a black and white double-breasted Retrofete blazer with a matching skirt. She paired the look with black opaque stockings and feathered heels.
The “Not Another Love Song” crooner’s soft-glam beauty beat highlighted her naturally gorgeous face.

Earlier this month, Beyonce stepped out to the Sir Davis California Crown Horse Race in the same ensemble, sprucing up the look with the matching longline jacket, a black oversized, wide-brim hat, black frame glasses, and a whole bunch of attitude.
While both women look good AF, Beyonce’s styling takes the ensemble to another level. The iconic singer has been serving up looks lately. She’s introduced old Hollywood glamor to her wardrobe in between her western-inspired outfits. She will undoubtedly serve as inspiration for Halloween costumes this year, per usual.
If you know Beyonce, then you should assume that her looks are calculated and hint towards the next era of her creative projects. The singer is known to use fashion as a soft launch to upcoming music endeavors. Are her recent looks a nod to “Renaissance” Act III? Only time will tell.
In an Instagram post, the singer showed off her gorgeous smile with her hair styled in a 1950s-inspired bob. She sparkled in a gold, sequins dress with a plunging neckline.
In another post, the singer looked chic in a yellow top, satin yellow skirt, and a matching belt that cinched her waist. She accessorized the look with sheer gloves and gold heels.
And in another post, the 43-year-old artist shielded her hair under a scarf bouffant, partnered with white glasses and a bold red lip.
