According to The Jasmine Brand, Big Meech has been released from prison. The mastermind behind the Black Mafia Family (BMF), is reportedly out of prison after serving over 15 years for drug charges.
According to a tweet from HuffPost’s Phil Lewis, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Meech was transferred on Tuesday (Oct. 15) from FCI Coleman Low, a low-security correctional facility in Florida, to “community confinement.” Community confinement is described as either home confinement or a halfway house. He is set to complete his sentence on Jan. 27, 2026.

Meech has been a huge figure in hip-hop, and his story has inspired shows and movies, which kept him in the spotlight even while he was locked up. More news to come as the story develops.
