Today, Albany-raised pop-punk band State Champs released a new music video for their track “Too Late To Say.” This song showcases a refreshing new sound for the group, bringing out their vulnerable side. While it sounds youthful and polished, it’s a deeper track that lyrically talks about being scared and the fear of losing yourself. The music video embodies those feelings, as the band is seen performing off the back of a fast-moving truck – a metaphor for moving too quickly through life.
This release comes just after the band announced their fifth studio album and self-titled record, State Champs, to be released on November 8 via Pure Noise Records. Last week, “Too Late To Say” was released as a single on all streaming platforms alongside “Silver Cloud.” In the music video for that song, singer Derek DiScanio is seen breaking the cycle of a mundane, unfulfilling life with a cast of characters played out by the rest of the band.
Comprised of 12 tracks, the songs on this record explode with passionate and smartly constructed precision. While big, bold, and slick, the production nevertheless sounds like a band in a room together or decimating the stage. It’s a perfect example of how the band has become a major player in the pop-punk scene, championing the genre over the past decade.
Nearly 15 years after the band’s formation, lead singer Derek DiScanio, bassist Ryan Scott Graham, guitarist Tyler Szalkowski, and drummer Evan Ambrosio found themselves at different points in their personal lives—marriage, kids, and relocations across the country made for a new kind of relationship dynamic. Produced by Anton DeLost (Mayday Parade, Hawthorne Heights), State Champs will showcase some of the best edgy, high-energy tracks that have defined their career thus far, making it the exact right time to debut their self-titled album.
The band will also be heading out on a tour this fall across North America. Supporting them on this tour are Knuckle Puck, Meet Me at The Altar, and Daisy Grenade. They will be making stops from coast to coast, kicking off on November 8 in Austin, Texas, and visiting major cities, including Phoenix, Anaheim, Salt Lake City, Denver, Cleveland, Nashville, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, and Toronto, among others. They will wrap up the tour on December 7 in New York City. Tickets are on sale now at: https://statechamps.band/pages/tour.
Starting in bedrooms and basements in 2010, State Champs quickly ascended as leaders of a new scene owing as much to early Fall Out Boy and Green Day as latter-day Warped Tour bands. They have become one of the most recognizable names in pop punk over the last decade and have helped to define the genre for a new generation of fans. They are experts at building authentic connections with audiences through smart and uplifting songcraft and passionate performances.
Over the course of their career, State Champs has received accolades from the likes of Rolling Stone, MTV, Kerrang!, Upset, Alternative Press, and Rock Sound, among others. Their sophomore album, Around the World and Back, entered the Billboard Current Rock Albums chart at No. 3 and made Rock Sound’s Top 10 Albums of the Year. Living Proof followed in 2018, and that same year Billboard called them “modern-day pop-punk torchbearers.” The band has also collaborated with some of pop-punk’s heaviest hitters, co-writing songs with Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low and Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 on their latest album Kings of the New Age.
On State Champs, they cement themselves as an outfit that can and will stand the test of time.
On the heels of his recently released album, Jacksonville rapper and CMG signee Lil Poppa has released the official music video for focus track “Feel The Same When You’re Sober” featuring Dej Loaf. A vibrant music video featuring the two rappers made its broadcast premiere on BET Jams and BET Hip Hop. “Feel The Same When You’re Sober” is off Lil Poppa’s recently released album Wee Are Who We Are (CMG/Interscope Records). Watch the music video above!
With a knack for enthralling, soulful and lucid storytelling, Lil Poppa has earned a reputation as one of rap’s most affecting young voices and on this new project he works through his emotions from a place of acceptance and moving forward. Featuring legendary southern voices like Boosie Badazz, Webbie and Dej Loaf alongside burgeoning acts like YG Teck, Lehla Samia and Blac Youngsta, the album is a lyrical masterpiece exploring struggle and hope. Listen to the new album from the Wildchild himself, via https://LilPoppa.lnk.to/WEEAREWHOWEARE.
The album comes after Poppa’s dealing with depression where rekindling his relationship with God got him through and in the booth. He came to terms with where he is in life and started penning songs across a variety of sounds, to show the industry that he can hold his own with the best. Often an orator for life on the streets, it was important to him to feature fellow Jacksonville artists to the booth for this new project, too. Spinabenz, another immensely popular rapper from the same neighborhood, is someone who Poppa thinks deserves the spotlight as well because of his talent — so he’s on the LP providing that hometown connection.
One of the most emotional songs on the project is “Letter To Jook,” a track to a close friend and mentor who motivated him never to quit. He called Poppa frequently to check on him and inspire him to keep rapping. His presence inspires the whole project, but is specifically called out on the track.
That’s not to say that the entire album is centered around sentimentality. There’s a full spectrum of songs here, with some featuring more of a club bounce, and others that you usually don’t hear Poppa rap in. He’s excited about this new effort and the evolution of his artistry that’ll be on display to his growing fanbase that already consists of millions of fans.
Australian based R&B singer/songwriter, SAHXL (pronounced Suh-heel) shares new single “MISS INDEPENDENT” featuring Chikoruss via Def Jam Recordings. SAHXL and Chikoruss come together on this early 2000s inspired R&B single while singing about wanting to catch the attention of a self-sufficient femme fatale. Jamaican-American iconoclast Fousheé shares a new single “100bux” alongside an accompanying visualizer. This marks the third release off her upcoming album Pointy Heights out September 13th via RCA Records.
“100bux” is a chameleonic fusion of the alt-pop foundation she built on softCORE with clear Reggae and Ska influences. “100bux” sets off with a grungy baseline, and later finds Fousheé interpolating Musical Youth’s iconic track “Pass the Dutchie.” After recently visiting her family’s land in Jamaica for the first time since she was a kid, and consequently diving deeper into her mother’s history as a member of the 1980s all-female reggae group PEP, Fousheé’s forthcoming album is a mosaic of her past and present.
Pointy Heights was announced earlier this month alongside the Steve Lacy-produced lead single “still around,” featuring a propulsive groovy bassline and a music video shot on her family’s property in Jamaica. It was followed by calypso-infused track “war.”
To celebrate the upcoming project, Fousheé announces two tour dates. She’ll grace the stage of Paris’ Les Toiles on Friday, October 4 and later stop at Jazz Cafe in London on Monday, October 7. Ticket pre-sale begins Wednesday, August 28 at 10 AM local time, while general onsite begins Friday, August 30 at 10 AM local time. Tickets may be purchased HERE.
The LP shares its name with the land her grandfather purchased in Jamaica, with the intention that her whole family could build homes and live there. With Pointy Heights, Fousheé zigs out of the frenetic R&B-punk of her acclaimed previous album, softCORE, as she paints an entirely new sonic palette. Playing the part of singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, we enter a world shaped by her home, where old school, indie Reggae, rhythms buoy dance-friendly melodies and a natural cool that makes her the go-to collaborator for today’s biggest artists. The album is a 180 by an artist who makes genres feel like quaint ideas of a bygone era. In Pointy Heights, Fousheé makes an entirely new sound, an effortlessly bold move from an artist who has created one of the most adventurous, melodically resonant records of the year.
Pointy Heights is rich with crackling bass lines, spangly guitar parts, and rollicking, sharp drum sounds, all anchored by the next level songwriting that has defined Fousheé since her first project – time machine – was released three years ago. Her songwriting prowess has made her one of the most sought-after collaborators of the last few years, collaborating with Childish Gambino’s Donald Glover, Steve Lacy, Teezo Touchdown, Lil Yachty, and more.
If her breakthrough hit “Deep End” introduced Fousheé to the world, softCORE brought Fousheé front and center. When it was released, 2022’s softCORE exploded out of nowhere, the equivalent of a sugar high times ten filtered through a redefining of what is expected from female artists; it was met with massive acclaim and excitement and launched Fousheé into her own lane of exceptionalism. Following its release, Fousheé won a Grammy for her work on friend and collaborator Steve Lacy’s breakthrough hit “Bad Habit,” in addition to seeing her open for Lacy throughout the world in the year that followed. Fousheé received love from the likes of
Rolling Stone, GQ, Alternative Press, Office Magazine, Variety, HommeGirls, NME, The Guardian, Crack Magazine, and more around softCORE; she played NPR’s Tiny Desk; she sat front row at Paris Fashion Week at shows by Chanel, Givenchy, and more. softCORE basically brought Fousheé to the world and the world to Fousheé.
Ultimately, the path around the globe took her back to Jamaica, where her family is from; a place she had not been to since she was six years old. Fousheé had been in the middle of writing songs for her next project when the trip happened, and it literally changed everything. She scrapped the songs on which she’d been working and started anew, using elements of the music that was literally in her blood to help push her songwriting and sounds forward. The result stands uniquely, brilliantly on its own as an album unlike any other and one of the best
records of 2024.
Today, New York City-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer allie announces her immersive, evocative self-produced second studio album Every Dog due out September 27 and available for pre-order now. Alongside the announcement, the artist shares of the project–the title track out now and its matching video. The forthcoming meditative LP is a vulnerable exploration of queer love and one’s self, carefully crafted by the artist who wrote, produced and mixed it herself.
Every Dog is a twenty-seven minute-long, highly-focused collection of sonic portraits, with each song offering uniquely immersive, richly-layered meditations on queer love, isolative depression, Western U.S. road trips, and singing through the pages of a personal journal. The album has proven to be a crucial creative and spiritual outlet for the artist, who says, “‘Every Dog’ highlights different growths I’ve experienced as a songwriter, in the efficacy of both more abstract-leaning and literal-leaning types of storytelling.” Equipped with a renewed sense of self and newfound creative freedom, allie continues, “I felt freer to write about my own experiences and wherever else my imagination took me, worrying less about fitting in with other artist peers, and just wanting to make something that felt fair and real and true to my life in this vast and crazy world.”
Seamlessly melding emotionally evocative lyricism with memorable and catchy pop-song formats, songwriter Allie Cuva has returned with Every Dog to showcase the work of an experienced young artist, driven toward songs with urgency, poise, and passion. The seven-song album feels like an easily-accessible portal of the personal. Producing and mixing the record herself, allie tactfully designed the recordings from beginning-to-end. The overall winning quality of this album is achieved through allie’s artistic vulnerability and willingness to share secrets with the audience, understanding that through such door-opening, an invitation for a powerful, cathartic and personal interpretive listening experience is made possible.
New York City proved to play a pivotal role in the album’s story and creation and how allie relates to herself and the world around her. After relocating from Detroit and Nashville, the musician explains, “‘Every Dog’” emerged as a bit of a montage-based glimpse into how moving to New York City has changed the way I’m able to interact with my surrounding environment. Having lived most of my life in suburban-type sprawls of Michigan and Tennessee, I’m not sure anything could have prepared me for the vibrancy or constancy of NYC.”
The title track sweetly explores self-discovery–a harmonically nutritious meditation on the journeys of supporting an ex-lover and learning more about one’s self in the process. The track similarly holds New York City in its DNA. The artist says, “I understand “Every Dog” to be a somewhat abstract representation of my own journey and the journeys of my loved ones, especially artist friends, to find solace in such a trying, chaotic environment here in NYC.”
It also explores ever-evolving interpersonal relationships, how distance from friends with time can be necessary, even if difficult and strange. Delving into the intimate subject matter, allie adds, “Looking back, I think the song “’Every Dog’” was a way for me to honor both the pain of necessary separation from beloved people who had once been very close to me, and also the sense of peace and acceptance I felt in knowing such decisions were made for the right reasons–out of love for the other and myself.”
Recorded in Brooklyn with bandmates Alex Harwood (guitar), Maxwell Zikakis (bass/synth), and Patrick Freeman (drums), allie says much of the songwriting flowed from her subconscious. Sonically, allie tied the sounds to the feeling the song evokes, and continues, “I wanted to create something that felt flickering–the oscillating guitar can resemble the constantly churning transportation flowing through NYC–and that also evolved to deliver the listener somewhere different than expected, which was meant to represent big, structural change in a relationship.”
Shot on the Long Island coastline in late autumn, the video, directed by bassist Zikakis, follows allie and her partner Caro, along with a family friend’s dog, Älska. The artist shares, “The video feels quite impressionistic and open to interpretation. I love how the shots get progressively sillier over time. We hadn’t set out with any specific criteria in mind–our only goal was to explore the area and maybe document it. My favorite sequence is of what is presumably designed to appear as the dog and me looking out at each other across some great supposed body of water and perhaps time itself.”
Last month, allie shared the album’s lead single with “Radio Shower,”–an impressionistic, nylon-strung montage of aging, loss, and love that ponders the passage of time over gentle guitar plucks and soothing vocals. Inspired by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, the track is written in alternative tuning and is sonically layered and textured with several instrumental parts. The artist repeatedly second guessed herself, re-recording vocals several times, and learned the benefits and risks that come with experimenting in the studio. “Before sending to master, I did at least 32 mix revisions, many of which featured big arrangement changes. I re-recorded vocals, then decided the original vocals had been better. A bunch of chasing my own tail. I learned a hugely important lesson from this song–which is that while studio experimentation can be great, I should never forget the original spirit, vision, and/or goal for the song’s recording.”
Allie Cuva, who performs under the moniker allie, is a songwriter, producer, mix engineer, multi-instrumentalist and performer. She began writing music at the age of twelve in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan and later moved to Nashville to hone musical skillset and form her artistic identity. The artist then went on to tour extensively as the drummer for indie pop rocker Cavetown. The musician’s 2021 debut LP Maybe Next Time garnered support from Brooklyn VeganAtwood MagazineOur Culture Magazine and more. The LP was followed up by a 7-inch included on Saddle Creek’s Document Series with “cast iron,” produced by Ryan Hemsworth (Tinashe, Mitski) under Quarter-Life Crisis which FLOOD Magazine called “an affecting rumination on connection.” With her forthcoming rich, vibrant indie-rock project, filled with purple gel-penned iridescent bedroom bangers, allie aims to queer a space so often dominated by men and hopes to genuinely connect listeners based on broad, relatable themes of humanity through a lesbian, trans, leftist lens.
“Every Dog,” the contemplative, gentle track by allie, is out everywhere now. The responsibly sentimental second, self-produced album of the same name is due out September 27 and available to pre-order now. Connect with allie now on InstagramFacebook and YouTube and stay tuned for much more to come.

The hybrid of classic country song craft and psyche-rock sounds inform the spirit of Nashville native songwriting duo of Jack Quiggins and Ryan Jennings—known throughout all music scenes as Teddy and the Rough Riders. The group’s latest single, “Hippies,” personifies that ethos to the nth degree with a rowdy, driving groove and interjecting, fuzz-laden guitars. “‘Hippies make the best country music’ is a line said to me after I show I played while I was backing Whitey Morgan,” remembers Quiggins. Right off the bat, Quiggins realized he’d made a mistake engaging with the said individual who proceeded to share everything from political and social views to his opinion on whether Quiggins would make it in the music industry. “He continued to berate me about my long hair and demeanor,” Quiggins laughs. But as abruptly as it began, the man made a lasting exit. “Then he decided to end the conversation with praise and the infamous line we used in the song. Who knows, maybe he’s not wrong.”
“‘Cause if this wicked world’s on its last leg, how do we two-step? And that hair down to your shoulders don’t cover that big chip. Keep your mind on what’s important son, or you’re gonna lose it. Hippies make the best country music”
Today, Holler. premiered the track writing, “Rattling along like an eighteen wheeler with its brakes cut, ‘Hippies’ is a mix of chugging barroom boogie and squelchy glam rock that once again reinvents 70s country rock with a little slacker charm and knowing 21st-century irreverence.” Teddy and The Rough Riders’ upcoming album Down Home–out October 11–is a raucous, electrifying double-down on all the elements that garnered praise for their 2022 self-titled LP; country music groovy enough for their friend and once-producer Margo Price to proclaim that “given the chance, [Teddy and the Rough Riders] will unite the hippies and the cowboys, the bikers and the stoners.”
The eleven-song collection, being released via Appalachia Record Co., breathes like a band confident in their songwriting and recording, working with momentum already up to speed- the album moves along at an easy clip, with several points where one will unconsciously find themselves reaching for the volume knob to turn up the rippers. At 33 minutes, it’s a record begging for repeat listens where even the down-tempo numbers groove.
Fans can stream or purchase “Hippies,” check out Teddy and The Rough Riders’ previously released single, “Catfish Summer,” and pre-order or pre-save Down Home ahead of its October 11th release via Appalachia Record Co. right here
Teddy and the Rough Riders are on a non-stop tour this summer, backing and opening for New West artist Emily Nenni across the U.S. and throughout parts of Europe and the U.K., culminating in their official showcase at this year’s Americanafest in September. Following a short run of dates with Emily Nenni opening for Orville Peck, The Teddy gents will set out on their own U.S. tour beginning in October through the end of 2024, with dual album release celebrations in Austin and Nashville. Tour dates can be found below or at teddyandtheroughriders.com.

Rising country singer-songwriter Dipper has released his latest single “Little More Pine” this Friday – listen HERE. The track’s soft acoustic guitar perfectly complements his dynamic delivery as he shares a relatable story of incompatible long-distance lovers. At one point, he sighs, “There ain’t no tying California girls down,” going on to sum up just why it didn’t work out, “She’s a little more palm, and I’m a little more pine.”
Earlier this summer, he dropped the heartbroken “Boy Can Dream.” It followed the fan favorite “You’re The One.” Today’s Country Magazine praised how “Dipper finds perfect balance in his crafting of an upbeat, potential wedding playlist favorite by keeping a strong bend on the country music laurels of back when while stamping a firm foothold on the current generation sound of right here and now.”
Dipper notably closed out 2023 with the Evergreen EP. Today’s release follows his singles “Hated Myself” and “She’s Got Wings.” The project claimed coveted real estate on Spotify playlists such as “Next From Nashville” and “Young Nashville.” Dipper also shined at the Spotify House experience at Nashville’s 2023 CMA Fest.
Growing up in College Station, TX, Dipper—born Mason Gonzalez—has quietly captivated fans and peers alike with a combination of classic country-style storytelling and striking vocal delivery. He first caught traction on TikTok, turning heads and inciting the applause of everyone from fellow artists Lainey Wilson, Chase Matthew, and Austin Snell to marquee songwriter ERNEST. As the numbers went up and excitement increased, he continued to write at a prolific pace inspired to go even harder in the studio. Now, his sharp songcraft and show stopping voice have positioned him for a breakthrough as a country artist to watch in 2024.

R&B star October London passionately displays his soul-baring vocal chops on new single “She Keeps Calling.” The return track follows on from the whirlwind success of his latest album, The Rebirth of Marvin, which pays homage to the legendary Marvin Gaye.
London’s latest entry is a riveting track that affirms his unwavering commitment to keeping soul music alive. She keeps calling me, and I go,” the singer-songwriter croons as he conjures enchanting imagery of a whimsical romance. Listen HERE via Death Row Records.
The song is produced by Priest “Soopafly” Brooks, of the West Coast hip-hop collective Tha Dogg Pound (DPGC), the sound architect responsible for London’s hit single “Mulholland Drive,” featuring Snoop Dogg and Latoiya Williams – which spent consecutive weeks parked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
As the first R&B artist signed to the relaunch of Death Row with Snoop Dogg at the helm, London has carved out a lane in R&B for his distinct style and authentic storytelling. Since signing with the iconic label in 2016, he’s become a formidable force in the music industry, leading him to accrue two No. 1 singles (“Back to Your Place” and “Mulholland Drive”) and a devoted following.
The new single serves as a precursor to October London’s forthcoming album, October Nights, which is set for release this fall. The album seamlessly blends London’s traditional R&B sound with modern elements, highlighting his versatility as an artist able to bridge genres. With no signs of slowing down, London further extends his winning streak as he gears up for “The Serenade 2024 North American Tour” with 3X Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist Maxwell and 2X Grammy-winning R&B powerhouse Jazmine Sullivan – kicking off September 14th.
This all builds on the momentum of London’s aforementioned 2023 LP, The Rebirth of Marvin, an album that has been recognized and praised by Billboard, BET, EBONY, Rated R&B and more.
Stream “She Keeps Calling” above and stay tuned for more from October London.
Emerging with a fresh and fiery signature style, buzzing Nigerian-born, Texas-raised duo KAIRO share a new single and music video entitled “BRAND NEW” out now. It notably marks their first release of 2024 and their official debut for Def Jam Recordings, ushering identical twin brothers EJ and AK into the spotlight. Listen HERE. Watch HERE.
From the jump, the track illuminates the incomparable chemistry and vision between EJ and AK. A loose throwback bounce gains momentum as the pair lock into a captivating call-and-response. Breaking boundaries between hip-hop, R&B, pop, funk, and alternative, slick falsetto carries the chorus, “Everybody see me in a room, what you want to do? What’s your next move? Seem like everybody trying to play it cool, acting brand new.” In the surreal accompanying visual, the guys visit their new girlfriends (who also happen to be identical twins). Cutting through the tension, they eventually incite a literal singalong from the perceivably reticent, standoffish, and stoic parents. With its seventies-style filters and cinematic editing, the clip evokes the dynamic nature of KAIRO on-screen. Speaking on the new single, KAIRO say, “We haven’t seen kids that look like us in this pop scene. We want to be an influence for future generations.”
Get to know KAIRO now.
The twins officially united under the moniker of KAIRO in 2020. However, their independent debut EP, Love Letters From Houston, made major waves during 2022. In addition to stacking up millions of streams, Billboard went as far as to christen them “stars in the making.” Alfitude cited “Someone Like You” as “arguably the most charming song of the year,” and GRAMMY.com welcomed them for an exclusive performance, praising their “shimmering, buoyant musical style.” Between receiving further acclaim from OnesToWatch, Atwood Magazine, Earmilk, SHEESH, and more, they sold out early shows and dropped their Return To Sender EP. The latter’s single “Movie Star” generated over 6.6 million Spotify streams. Keeping busy in the studio, they inked a deal with Def Jam Recordings in 2024 and kickstart what promises to be their biggest and boldest chapter yet, beginning with “BRAND NEW.”
Today, alternative pop artist, Demi the Daredevil released a new collaborative single, “American Zombie” with the LA-based TikTok powerhouse RudyWade, Filipino-American star Ethan Gander, and Nashville’s alternative-hip-hop darling Mitchel Dae.
This song is beautifully eerie and spellbinding, encapsulating just how detached humans have become from themselves and the present moment in society.

“I’ve had this experience many times, where I felt like I’m seeing things pass by like a video game,” confesses artist Jeff Azar – known to his fans as Demi the Daredevil, a dark alternative
pop rarity. “I’ve wanted to write about this ‘derealization’ phenomenon for a while. It’s the feeling
that I’m simply managing incoming stimuli on the outside, while I’m not really ‘existing’ or
‘present’ internally.”

“American Zombie” is a reflection and reaction to the digital information landscape currently demanding our attention at an increasingly rapid pace. The creeping motion heard on the tracks instrumental production is a calculated attempt to slow time down – with verses meant to hypnotize listeners, punctuated by pleading anthemic hooks crafted to snap you back into reality.

“I want people to know they aren’t alone in struggling to navigate this attention economy” says
Azar. “I hope this song can open up a broader dialogue around the effects of this constant
stimulation on our brains, and how we can start repairing the long term repercussions of it all.”

The single came together as the official soundtrack to the four artists’ upcoming American Zombie Tour, kicking off in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 11. Not only can fans expect to hear the four artists team up to perform the new single each night, but this will also be the first-time fans outside of Southern California will be able to catch a glimpse of RudyWade and Ethan Gandor in the flesh.
All four artists bring the song a dynamic and evolutionary energy from start to finish. They boast a combined total of over 1.5 million listeners and have reached a combined total of over 55+ million streams in the last year alone.

“I write. That’s how I get through life,” says singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken, known better under her stage name, Brontë Fall. Her songs echo life’s highs, lows, struggles, and triumphs universally, but the distinct detail from her own experiences resonates most clearly with listeners. Fall’s upcoming LP, Not Done Yet, is an open book into the celebrated artist’s grappling with heartbreak and mourning the loss of her father, resolve in the face of doubt in the music industry, and ultimately, perseverance and resilience through it all. Throughout Not Done Yet, Fall candidly wrestles with herself. She almost quits. She pulls herself back. She laughs at those who told her to get a more sustainable career. She curses herself for not getting a more sustainable career. She’s upfront, honest, and humble as she writes to get through life—all while turning a tune fit for radio singalongs worldwide.
Today, Fall released a brand new single from Not Done Yet, “Worth the Money,” an anthemic, electric guitar-driven pop-rocker that asks a simple question: “If I had money, would all my troubles go away?” At its root, “Worth the Money” examines the sacrifices Fall has made for her career and questions whether those choices were worth it. Like everything in life, the answer seems to be a little bit “no” and a little bit “yes,” but Fall’s determination and talent win out in the end. With “Worth the Money” and the rest of Not Done Yet, Fall’s message is a guiding light for anyone struggling to pursue their dreams. Fall understands the urge to quit, and yet she’s emerged more defiant than ever, poised for a massive moment. “Even when it’s hard, I’m going to keep going,” she says. “I can’t stop. I love it too damn much.”
This morning, FLOOD premiered “Worth the Money,” writing, “The track begins with scorched-earth guitar melodies, a shuffling drum groove, and a roaring organ line. Bracken’s voice steals the show as she effortlessly scales her melodic range and wonders whether this career in music is all it’s cracked up to be.”
Fans can stream or purchase “Worth the Money” today at this link, check out Fall’s previously released Not Done Yet singles “One More Day,” “Making It Up” and “Woman Like Me” at their respective links, and stay up to date on the album ahead of its October 25th release at brontefall.com
Today, Mondo Cozmo, the enigmatic musical force, aka Josh Ostrander, released It’s PRINCIPLE!, a varied, grizzled, intense, sincere, and intricate rock album produced by Mark Rankin (Queens of the Stone Age, Adele) via Last Gang Records. Listen to It’s PRINCIPLE! HERE
Cozmo recently announced his upcoming fall US tour with dates including New York’s Brooklyn Made, Philadelphia’s Underground Arts, Chicago’s Schubas Tavern, Asbury Park’s Wonder Bar and more. Tickets on sale now, available HERE.
Today, Cozmo released a music video for title track “It’s PRINCIPLE!” (watch music video HERE) – a brawny epic that almost didn’t even make it onto the album.
Mondo Cozmo stated to FLOOD MAGAZINE, “I nearly deleted a demo of this song as I thought Mark (producer) would hate it. As I was going to delete it Mark texted me saying he thinks it should open the record. I love the urgency of this song. I love the intro noise that was an accident. I love the opening line “So I’m slashing tires on Main Street America”. Feels right. FLOOD also published an exclusive track by track with Mondo, check it out HERE
Throughout the writing process, Cozmo was conscious that he needed to make a concise record that was focused, but he had an unprecedented creative spark. He wrote 70 songs. With Rankin’s faith in centerpiece and title track he decided this would be his torch light, to trust the opinions of those around him whom he respected.
Fueled by this new found confidence, the album has a cocksure bluster of an artist that has run out of f**ks to give, and all the better for it. Previously released single “Angels,” is a wall of sound rock epic with momental lyrics, “Wild Horses” will stop you into oblivion, “Killing Floor” a slow burn esoteric love song,  where deep cuts like “Sundown In An Age Of Fear” are more abstract but contains a refined energy, hard to pinpoint but compelling to its core.
“DON’T WANNA MISS U” uses the Neptunes/Timbaland-era production of the early aughts to tell a story of a relationship nearing its demise. The bouncy, bass-heavy track features Black Hibiscus and Mai Anna acting as opposing sides of a couple, with one wanting to force the issue at hand and the latter hoping to prolong the relationship and keep the peace.
“That song gave me the most hell,” admits Black Hibiscus. “I was learning to create that ‘bounce.’ It was focusing on energy rather than softer emotions.”
Black Hibiscus’ musical diversity is on full display on Growing Pains (MNRK Music Group), the musician’s latest album, which will be released on October 18, 2024. The record showcases both a broad musical spectrum and the singer’s personal growth — and the trials and tribulations that come from those life-changing experiences. It’s hectic, experimental, intimate and always unpredictable, while showcasing a thoroughly unique voice at its heart.

“Bad Decisions” is a relatable track reflecting on life’s twists, turns and unexpected journeys. The upbeat tune and lively melody reminds us that life is full of experiences and lessons that make us who we are. Encouraging listeners to find value in everyday life’s experience throughout each chapter of our lives, the song speaks to the common theme on the coming of age record, Hereditary, noting the importance of embracing our pasts and personal stories.
As the voice behind the iconic 2000s pop punk group Hey Monday, Hereditary marks The Voice winner’s first full length following her shift from country back to her pop punk roots. The album, that GRAMMY.com named as one of their top 15 Must-Hear Albums In July, is an emotional rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of life, love and self-discovery. Each track is a testament to the journey we embark on, shaped by our upbringing and the legacies passed down through generations. Whether that’s love, betrayal or the intricate web of family dynamics, the title Hereditary captures the essence of our roots, the echoes of our past and the quest to carve our own path.
“This song felt like the perfect backdrop to show my journey on the road and connecting with my fans. There are so many ups and downs that come with touring and highlighting that felt like the right visual for the song” shares Cassadee Pope.
But through it all – the Warped Tour parking lots, tours with Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard, CMT Awards and chart-topping singles – she’s always remained fearlessly, unapologetically herself. 15 years into her career,  her confessional writing continues to redefine her place as a pop punk mainstay as she enters this renaissance with a new found sense of freedom.
She just wrapped her successful U.S. Headlining Hereditary Tour and will be kicking off a North American run supporting multi-platinum-selling Canadian pop-rock band, Marianas Trench this September. There will be a limited supply of deluxe album vinyls that are only available at shows while supplies last. Take your pick from either black or clear pink records signed by Cassadee herself.
Below is a complete list of Cassadee Pope’s North American tour dates. She will also be at When We Were Young Festival and Emo’s Not Dead Cruise, billed as Hey Monday. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit https://www.cassadee.com/

Success will always be the best REVENGE, and Muni Long proves that once again with today’s release of her second full-length album and what promises to be the “R&B Album of the Year”Revenge, out now via Def Jam Recordings. Listen HERE.

On her own terms, she has cemented herself as the superwoman of R&B, scoring multiple #1’s, reaching multiplatinum heights, and dominating the social and cultural conversations throughout the year. Piling up accolades, “Hrs & Hrs” just reached double-platinum status, her smash single from this project “Made For Me” is certified Platinum and the record’s second single “Make Me Forget” vaulted to #1 on R&B Radio.

As a whole, the album showcases the breadth of the GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar’s artistry. From bedroom-quaking throwback future classics to cathartic moments of pure empowerment, it illuminates every facet of her uncanny and undeniable presence. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s Revenge

About Revenge, she declared, “I’m trying to solidify myself as an R&B giant, and I’m confident enough to say it because I know we made some quality music. When you hear Revenge, I want you to feel like I did when I heard Maxwell’s first album. I hope my music can be a little bit of medicine. I promise you’ll feel better.

Last month, she set the stage for the album with “Ruined Me.” Beyond tallying millions of streams, it incited unanimous critical applause. “Ruined Me” landed in the wake of “Make Me Forget” which climbed the charts, cracking the Top 10 of Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart.

Muni Long has entered her Revenge era and nothing makes it sweeter than success!
Earlier this year, she recharged her platinum-certified hit “Made For Me” by dropping a powerhouse remix featuring Mariah Carey and delivered a showstopping performance on the Season Finale of NBC’s The Voice.

“Made For Me” cracked the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 7 weeks at #1 on the R&B Radio Airplay Chart and catapulted to #1 on Apple’s R&B Chart and #2 on the Apple Music All Genres Chart. The music video has also 50 million YouTube views. Watch HERE. Produced by the legendary Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox and Jordan XL, “Made For Me” followed in the footsteps of mega hit “Hrs & Hrs” and vaulted to #1 at R&B Radio solidifying her staying power at the top of the charts.
Bursting with Latin rhythms and flirtatious guitars, “The Inevitable” tells the story of a deep, innate connection between two lovers transcending time. The lyrics and instrumentation paint a picture of their souls dancing– intertwined and destined to find each other in every lifetime. This connection comes to life in the video between LÉA and her lover.
Today, Montell Fish unveils his brand new 3-track project Aeon, via Virgin Music – listen HERE. Watch the visualizer for lead single “Better Off” HERE. It was just announced last week that Fish’s full-length album CHARLOTTE will now release on Friday September 27th. Pre-save the album HERE. With the delay of CHARLOTTE, Fish opted to release Aeon as a means of satiating fans in the interim. The North American tour in promotion of CHARLOTTE – with support from Kacy Hill and Clip – will kick off on Wednesday, September 11th at Royale in Boston, MA. All tickets can be found HERE for purchase.
Propelled forward by gloomy synths and spare guitar, Aeon features the signature style of Fish’s falsetto and themes of loneliness, despair, and resignation. Heartache has never felt more palpable than it does in the lead single “Better Off.” The refrain of “better off not in love” has Montell weighing whether a relationship filled with despondency is better or worse than nights alone. So much of Fish’s music has him posing near-existential questions (God or the devil?) and yet on Aeon, these questions feel more centered on whether love feels requited.
On Friday, September 27th, Fish will release his newest album CHARLOTTE, a raw collection of songs that explore the highs and lows of love, ambition, and self-actualization. Pre-save the album HERE. It probes deep into themes of memory, attachment, loss, and growth, and the psychology behind all of these human experiences. While Montell wrote the record, the continuation of the trilogy that began with Jamie (2022), Fish read about psychology, memory, and childhood; the ideas of Freud and Jung provided thoughtful stimulation as he crafted songs that explore growth and attachment—romantic and otherwise. Through lyrics relating to love, power, failure, and success – all universal to the human experience– Montell uses these themes to highlight the same feelings and situations he’s experienced since the formulation of Jamie, in regards to his own struggle with leaving his faith, and learning to lose and move on from those who were a part of that old audience, team and online fan base.
Recorded between Paris and New York, CHARLOTTE began life in the home of the acclaimed fashion designer Matthew Williams and is the first project of Montell’s that includes a co-collaborator (Jacob Portrait). CHARLOTTE is Montell’s most fully realized project yet, the sound of a generational talent stepping into his power. The album includes collaborations with Clams Casino, Alex G, and Daniel Caesar.
Throughout 2024, Lonely has been building anticipation for this release, captivating fans with exclusive sneak peeks and teasing clips across his social media channels. Earlier this summer, he released the metaphorical “LUV 4 YA” which starts with a smooth, laid-back yet powerful groove, and transforms into a high-energy anthem exploring love and materialism over slick drums and hypnotic riffs. In the stunning visual directed by 91 Rules, the triumphant track finds the Atlanta native navigating his way out of an alternate reality. As he seeks an exit by digging through the surreal void, the world schemes to trap him in limbo, testing his determination. Watch HERE
Rising star Doechii’s new hip-hop/rap mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, captures a rare talent in her rawest form yet, giving listeners 19 distinct windows into her one-of-a-kind artistry. Released today via Top Dawg Entertainment / Capitol Records, Alligator Bites Never Heal is available for download / streaming HERE. Pre-order the vinyl edition HERE. She’ll celebrate the mixtape’s release with a livestream tonight at 6:00 PM PT. Doechii will perform at Black Market Flea in Los Angeles tomorrow, August 31.
Doechii says, “To my Swamp, my devoted core fans, I hope you cherish this mixtape and create beautiful memories to it. Use my music to encourage you through the rough days and use it to imagine better ones. Allow Alligator Bites Never Heal to inspire you as you all have inspired me. I love you forever.”
The explosive “GTFO” Ft. KUNTFETISH features razor-sharp wordplay from the two artists as they call out their haters. “GTFO” was produced by in-house TDE producer Devin Malik (Lil Yachty, Ken Carson), who produced several other tracks on the mixtape. Listen HERE.
Upon its release last week, “Boom Bap,” was hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the “Songs You Need to Know This Week” and led ESSENCE’s roundup of the “Best New Music.” Billboard marveled at “Doechii’s A+ flow as she proves herself over and over as the one to watch in the hip-hop genre.”
She delivers blunt-force bars on “Bullfrog,” unleashes a horrorcore growl on “Catfish,” and drops countless quotables on “Nissan Altima” (“I’m the new hip-hop Madonna / I’m the trap Grace Jones”).
On Alligator Bites Never Heal, Doechii is equal parts her Tampa roots and Los Angeles, where she’s currently based, she is then and now and also tomorrow, she is countless genres and movements and eras and ideas laid out before us in less than an hour of song. She is the woman on the cover, looking like a stone-faced queen, wearing Vivienne Westwood with beads in her braids and an albino alligator in her lap as if to say, “Did you expect something less?”
The mixtape comes on the heels of Doechii’s Eurodance-inspired hit “Alter Ego,” dubbed by R&B superstar SZA as “the craziest song I’ve heard all year.” “Alter Ego” received the remix treatment, with JT delivering a verse, further extending Doechii’s winning streak. To date, the song has earned over 15 million streams on Spotify alone. Earlier this summer, Doechii released “MPH,” where she thrives over a frenetic dance beat. She also partnered with Sprite’s Limelight music film to release her melodic single “ROCKET,” a song Hypebeast labeled “perfect for the summer.”
After gaining 600 million plus global streams for “What It Is (Block Boy)” last year, she unleashed “Booty Drop,” a New Jersey Club-influenced single, and “Pacer,” a track Stereogum described as “a shouty maximalist anthem” laced with “electronic streaks and overdriven rock guitars.” In September, she continued to build her momentum when she popped out to Los Angeles to open for Beyoncé. That same fall, the self-proclaimed Swamp Princess hit the road with Doja Cat on her Scarlet Tour dates.
This all builds on the heels of Doechii’s 2022 EP she / her / black bitch, where she cemented herself as a distinct voice whose versatile talents range from quick-fire bars to seductive singing. Doechii was chosen as an XXL Freshman and tapped as an “Artist to Watch” in Rolling Stone, NPR, Vulture, Complex, Uproxx, Pigeons and Planes, FADER, and more. She was also recognized by the industry for her achievements with a nomination for Push Performance of the Year at the 2022 MTV VMAs and Best New Artist at the 2022 Soul Train Music Awards. She made her late-night TV debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” performed at the 2022 BET Awards, and took the main stage at Coachella in 2023 with a critically acclaimed performance.
As Valley reach a decade of releasing and performing music, they have had to re-learn how to be a band together. The JUNO Award-nominated band’s third album Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden (out today via Capitol Records/Universal Music Canada) proves just how adaptable and unbreakable the trio can be — Stream
Last fall, Valley were at a crossroads. They were in therapy, working the usual growing pains long-established bands face after years out on the road and the weight of viral success. While on tour with Dermot Kennedy, Rob Laska (lead vocalist), Alex Dimauro (bassist) and Karah James (drummer) found a beacon of hope: a forgotten demo of the song “Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden.”
Today’s title track was actually written at the same time as the critically-acclaimed viral hit “Like 1999,” which was released in February 2021. “Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden,” a song about love, loss and finding the silver linings, would remain tucked away in a Dropbox full of unreleased demos for the next three years while “Like 1999” inspired a more pop direction for Valley, which they pursued with gusto on 2021’s Last Birthday and last year’s JUNO-nominated album Lost in Translation.

“We really had these two paths that we previously didn’t know we had,” Karah reflects on the discovery of the old song. While “Like 1999” and their ensuing pop direction did many wonderful things for them, “Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden” has brought them back to who they were always meant to be; somewhere more playfully between indie, folk and pop, with a lyrical depth of a band that has worked through every stage of the grieving process.
Karah adds, “It feels like us. It feels like a path that finally feels like Valley.”
Decamping to a cabin in the Smoky Mountains in February, under the guidance of COIN’s Chase Lawrence, Valley spent the entire month with very little access to the outside world. Stuck in their feelings, the band processed their heartbreak and the future together following the departure of founding guitarist Mickey Brandolino.
“The songs just poured out of us,” Rob explains. “I think that’s a true sign of when you’re making something special. We weren’t looking for things to write about. We knew exactly what we needed to write about. This is the first time I think we’ve ever witnessed as a band where everything’s there, we just have to reach and grab it.”
Today’s focus track, the intimate, folky “Bop Ba” is another song that explores some of the other changes in their lives. It has a different meaning for each member, with Rob relating it to his mother’s struggle with bipolar disorder while Karah pulled inspiration from a feeling of dependency and unhealthy attachment in a romantic relationship. Watch the official live video here
Over the course of the album, you will hear the true pain and true joy Valley experienced while making it. In hitting rock bottom, they found new stones to turn over in their garden, leading to the band’s “most intimate and personal and special record,” lead singer Rob Laska says, to enthusiastic nods from Karah and Alex. “This is the record we’ve always dreamed of making.”
Beginning next month, Valley will kick off the Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden North American headlining tour spanning coast to coast in the US and Canada. The tour includes shows at iconic venues and some of the biggest rooms they’ve played to date, including Brooklyn Steel in New York, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, History in Toronto and more.
GRAMMY-nominated multi-instrumentalist Charlie Bereal returns with his latest single, “Walk With The Father,” now available via Death Row Records/gamma.. In the self-produced track, with co-production by Josef Liemberg, the LA native reflects on the harsh realities faced by those who come to the big city chasing dreams, only to find it’s not quite what they had imagined. The release is accompanied by a visualizer that perfectly captures the smooth, retro Soul-R&B vibe, showcasing Charlie’s laid-back West Coast style as he cruises through the city in a classic lowrider.
“Walk With The Father” marks Charlie Bereal’s second release under the iconic West Coast label Death Row Records, following his debut single “Never Gonna Take Away My Love,” which dropped on July 26th and was announced through a collaborative Instagram post with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records. While Bereal has long been a respected name in the music industry for contributing guitar melodies to classic tracks like Aaliyah’s “More Than a Woman,” Missy Elliott’s “One Minute Man,” Mýa’s “Love Is Like Whoa,” and Jamie Foxx’s “Do What It Do,” working with industry giants like Jay-Z, Ja Rule, P Diddy, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Kanye West, Ashanti, Brandy, Mario, Tweet, and Toni Braxton, this reunion with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records marks a pivotal moment, bringing his musical journey full circle.
Born into a musical family in California, Charlie Bereal’s journey began in the church, where he first picked up the guitar at a young age. By high school, he was already touring with Grammy-winning Gospel singer Donnie McClurkin. At just 18, he had already carved out a successful career as a producer and touring guitarist. Despite his behind-the-scenes success with numerous collaborations, GRAMMY nominations, and a Fender guitar partnership, Bereal felt a calling to pursue his own music, leading him to transition into a solo artist blending classic soul and gospel with a modern twist. With some already impressive streaming numbers and support, there’s much to be excited about when it comes to this multi-talented artist.

Following this week’s announcement of his highly anticipated debut album, COYOTE, being set for release September 27th via ISO Supremacy/PULSE Record, Tommy Richman continues adding on to his monumental summer run with the release of his latest single, “THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONE” along with an accompanying music video -WATCH/LISTEN here. Having teased the single on his TikTok last week, “THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONE” comes as the first official release off COYOTE, giving fans an early taste of the project Tommy announced as album of the year during his late-night TV debut performance of “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.  The new single comes as a downtempo heartstring-pulling alt-R&B ballad, steering away from the upbeat funk sonics of his previous dance-rooted viral hits “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” and “DEVIL IS A LIE.” Tommy’s melodic vocal layers floating over the song’s vintage drum-machine groove, hazy chord progression, and howling synth lead highlight the creative maverick’s boundless artistic range as he reflects on previous heartbreak. Directed by Lonewolf, the new music video shows Tommy cruising through the desert with a female companion, reminiscing about the lovely moments they once shared. Scenic mountain shots alternate with footage of Tommy serenading his dream girl under the night sky, until he’s hit with the heavy reality of the situation and wakes up from his dream among a pack of wolves. An eerie clip of a lone wolf overlooking the highway closes out the video, symbolizing Tommy’s journey so far. “It’s a great example of slowing things down a little bit… It’s not always about the hype songs. I’m versatile,” says Tommy. In anticipation of the new album, Tommy will also be playing a series of sold-out live shows in  Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
COYOTE comes as Tommy Richman’s debut album following the record-breaking star being signed to fellow DMV-native Brent Faiyaz’s label, ISO Supremacy/PULSE Records. The LP contains songs that began years ago when Tommy was broke and lonely but confident in his art. In early 2024, he finalized these sketches and ideas in the desert. The rugged terrain and big skies inspired Tommy, who sees COYOTE as a thematic follow-up to his 2022 E.P., ALLIGATOR. “I’ve been building up my discography for years. I’m not a one-hit-wonder,” Tommy says —having already proven it so. COYOTE is about artistry and range. After years on the grind, the new album will close out a dominating 2024 and arrives with his first headlining tour.

Earlier this year, Andra released her critically acclaimed album CASSANDRA (cherith), a project that redefines modern R&B with its deep emotional resonance and masterful artistry. Written and produced by Andra, the album has been hailed as a “modern R&B masterpiece” by Variety, who praised its seamless blend of hip-hop, R&B, and jazz influences. It’s a bold evolution from her debut, showcasing her as one of the most compelling artists of our time. Listen to CASSANDRA (cherith) HERE.
Raucously making their debut release today, Girl Tones do not step softly onto the scene with “Fade Away.” Sister duo Kenzie and Laila have shed their classical training to creatively let out something more primordial and raw. Produced by Brad Shultz and recorded at the infamous Nashville studio Battle Tapes, the first single is fortified by fuzzy walls of guitar and a creeping synth line. Dynamically alternating between being sonically massive and pulling back for broken down palm muted parts, Girl Tones straddle their own line between punk and blues rock — Stream via Parallel Vision.
Guitarist and vocalist Kenzie shared that, “‘Fade Away’ is about being vulnerable and slowly getting burned over and over again by someone you love, to the point you have to move on with your life. You’re hurt, you’re angry, you’re owed an apology.”
Currently underway, Girl Tones is out on the road supporting Cage The Elephant on their Neon Pill Tour. With upcoming performances in Nashville and at Red Rocks, the duo is making a loud entry to a sea of ravenous fans. In New York, Girl Tones will play the official Cage The Elephant afterparty with Gloom Girl MFG.
Milwaukee-born, Chicago-based artist and producer Myquale (pronounced my-kwell) returns with his first offering of 2024, “Isaiah 54:17” (ft. lojii). The collaborative and thought-provoking single features Philly rapper and multimedia artist lojii, who infuses the track with additional layers of depth and enriches the overall narrative with a diverse perspective. “Isaiah 54:17” challenges listeners to consider the multifaceted role of men in safeguarding physical spaces and the ideological and cultural fabric that holds communities together.
Myquale shares, “‘Isaiah 54:17’ delves into a man’s responsibility to protect, not just physically, but also ideologically and culturally. Collaborating with lojii, an artist I’ve long respected, brought a unique perspective to the track. Featuring my younger brother on the outro adds a personal touch, making a statement on the importance of safeguarding what matters most.”
Arriving alongside the single is a cinematic visual directed by Julius Rarri Jimenez, depicting Myquale and lojii as they trek through Brooklyn’s cold, bustling streets. “Isaiah 54:17” is the first glimpse of the songs Myquale made during a brief hiatus and follows last year’s “North” (featuring Trapo).

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Estelle is back with her new single, “Oh I,” currently available on all streaming platforms. The track marks the lead single from her forthcoming sixth studio album, set to release later this fall. In conjunction with the single release, Estelle has joined forces with dancers and choreographers, including Storm DeBarge, to present a vibrant dance video. Directed by Storm DeBarge and Sheoptra, the video embodies the theme of manifestation of joy, a key aspect of the album. The video will premiere on YouTube at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET.
The new single was written by Estelle and co-produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Keith Harris, who previously collaborated with her on the global smash hit “American Boy.” Their creative synergy now brings us “Oh I,” a song that delves into the journey of making a choice to change and the commitment to that decision.
For the creation of “Oh I,” Estelle tapped into her British soul-pop inspirations and the 80s and 90s international house music she grew up on. Drawing from the sounds of artists like Jamiroquai, N’dea Davenport, Soul II Soul, Loose Ends, Robbie Williams, Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Martha Wash, Rosie Gaines, and Sylvester, Estelle infused the song with decades of musical influence. “Pretty much everything I’ve absorbed from years of listening and moving through the world as a lover of music and being born in London showed up for me,” she explains.
“‘Oh I’ is intended for everyone who’s had to get real with themselves and take their joy back. And if this isn’t you, I pray that you are reminded of your joy and self, and feel even more joy hearing this record” Estelle continues.
Keith Harris added, “Working with Estelle was pure magic. Her voice brought my beats to life, and together, we created something special. This track is a true reflection of our shared passion for music.”

Today, pioneering Bronx drill star Kay Flock ends the drought with “Fed Up” featuring Lil Tjay. Listen HERE. The moody, booming track is the rapper’s first official release since his December 2022 deluxe project, The D.O.A. Tape [Care Package].

The new song is a full-circle moment for Kay Flock, whose first big record was as a guest on Lil Tjay’s iconic 2021 hit “Not in the Mood,” also featuring Brooklyn drill luminary Fivio Foreign. That cut has since been RIAA-certified Gold®, but Kay Flock has racked up his own considerable victories, with four additional Gold records as lead artist: “Is Ya Ready,” “PSA,” and “Being Honest” — all from his original 2021 The D.O.A. Tape — as well as “Shake It” featuring Cardi B, Dougie B, and Bory300, which appeared on the [Care Package] installment and climbed to #51 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Produced by the GRAMMY-nominated Kenoe (NBA YoungBoy, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z), “Fed Up” kicks off with deep bass, sharp snares, and pensive piano. As the bells and 808s hit, we hear Kay Flock’s menacing growl issuing warnings while taking stock of his wins: “I was [booming] for days, now I’m getting paid for [buckin’] my s*** on a beat.” Lil Tjay hits the beat running, his words catching melody as he lets us know where he stands:  “with the heart of a lion, when they see me on top they be sighin’.” Kay Flock leaves us with a final thought: “Disrespect the gods, you gon’ meet the gods.”

For listeners eager for more, The D.O.A. Tape [Care Package] stands as an impressive monument to Kay Flock’s fast rise and innovative approach. The original The D.O.A. Tape made The New York Times’ esteemed best albums of 2022 list, and the 18-track expansion finds him in all his various modes of confident yet introspective lyricism, tracing his growth from the aforementioned breakout songs on through buzzworthy additions like “Outta Luck” featuring a then-rising BIG30. The project includes standout features from Gucci Mane, Fivio Foreign, G Herbo, Set Da Trend, B-Lovee, TG Crippy, and more. Production credits include Elias Beats, Maniac, Project Kidz, Krischon, Yung Lan, and A Lau. More recently Kay Flock received a coveted cosign from drill star Set Da Trend.
By the age of 19, Kay Flock had already helped to transform drill music in New York and beyond, earning critical acclaim from publications including The New York Times, Pitchfork, VULTURE, STEREOGUM, Rolling Stone, Billboard and more. Two years on, with new music on the horizon, only time will tell how Kay Flock will shift the culture yet again.

Cuzzo from the DMV taps Black Soprano Family emcee Heem B$F for a dope and gritty new single “Know Your Lane.” Both rappers are on their A game with amazing lyrics over a very cool beat which is a good play for anybody who needs to listen to good music to cheer them up.
Cuzzo is a hip-hop artist based in Washington, D.C. His music is a testament to his ability to blend of hip-hop with a cut- ting-edge, innovative twist, as shown on his most recent release, “Do It Right.”
As a rapper, Cuzzo believes in the importance of lyrics. He aims to make music that’s more than entertainment, connecting with listeners through a more meaningful vocal flow.
The song “Chessboard,” one of his most acclaimed tracks, is a prime example. Cuzzo combines a smooth beat with upfront vocals that are gritty and authentic, soaring with intensity and clever wordplay. Cuz- zo’s lyrics are unapologetic and real, making him shine among the current crop of hip-hop artists.
His songs are spontaneous reflections of his life experiences, and he uses music as a platform to convey his thoughts and emotions. Hip-hop has always been about raising one’s voice, and Cuzzo’s outspoken rhymes make him stand out for his un- flinching honesty and fearless approach to saying what he really feels.
AWOLNATION has released his eagerly awaited full length album, ‘The Phantom Five’ today. Composed of ten tracks, Aaron Bruno aka AWOLNATION says he “wrote this album with the intention that it could possibly be the final AWOLNATION album”. It includes the previously released singles and music videos for “Panoramic View”, “Jump Sit Stand March’ feat. Emily Armstrong and “I Am Happy” feat. Del The Funky Homosapien. Today, the music video for “Barbarian” can be seen here.
“I’ve always wanted to make something like Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game”’,” says Aaron Bruno on the video. “This video is nothing like that, because nothing could be like that beautiful video – but we had fun finding and shooting it at the same location with a sarcastic twist on the concept.”
On the song, he explains “I read The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka before I wrote this record, and I love the concept of me transforming from this AWOLNATION project into new projects like my new Barbarians of California hardcore metal thrash project. That’s the conflict of the song, and it was inspired by a guy changing into a bug.”
‘The Phantom Five’ is a collection of ten songs that highlights every different impulse and urge Bruno has learned to master with AWOLNATION in a cohesive, anthemic pastiche of modern music. It functions almost as a “greatest hits” album, in the sense that it offers something for everyone who has followed the band’s arc in its celebrated, shape-shifting way. ‘The Phantom Five’ is concerned with trying to find one’s way to happiness in a bizarrely upside-down time.
“I wrote this album with the intention that it could possibly be the final AWOLNATION album,” continues Bruno. “I wanted the challenge and inspiration of that idea. I’m not sure if it will actually be the last album, but I wanted to create that narrative to push myself with it and put everything I have into these songs.”
Global rock phenomenon and “Samurai Guitarist”, MIYAVI, has revealed details surrounding his upcoming new album ‘Lost In Love’ out October 9 via Rise Records. The news, album artwork and track listing were unveiled yesterday exclusively on Billboard.com. With the announcement comes the release of the single “We Stay Up All Night” which is available to stream now on all platforms.
“This album represents a three-year journey of sonic exploration, where I allowed the creative process to lead the way,” says MIYAVI on the new album. “I intentionally took my time with this record, stepping outside my artistic comfort zone to push my boundaries and craft my best work. It’s been a vulnerable place to be after so many years in the music industry, but I knew it was necessary.
I was fortunate to collaborate with a diverse group of artists whose influences have woven their way into the album, with MIYAVI’s signature guitar serving as the unifying thread. My life has always been split between Japan and the U.S., and that duality is deeply reflected in this album. Some tracks hit hard, while others are just pure fun, giving the record a split personality. Lost in Love is the culmination of a lifetime of experiences, encapsulating all the facets of who I am as MIYAVI.”
MIYAVI recently released the single and official visualizer for “Eat Eat Eat”, which is available to stream on all platforms: https://rr.lnk.to/EatEatEat.
“Eat Eat Eat” embodies animal instincts and androgyny, presenting a controlled chaos that is open to interpretation,” said MIYAVI on the single. “During the writing process, I was inspired by the archetype of antiheroes with multiple personalities, and I wanted to write a song that explores the duality of human nature, balancing rationality and impulsiveness. This theme runs throughout my new album, illustrating the conflict and coexistence of these contrasting human traits. Rather than confronting our varied psyches, we embrace them.”
“Eat Eat Eat” follows the double singles “Broken Fantasy/Tragedy Of Us”. All songs can be found on ‘Lost In Love’
MIYAVI was recently announced as one of the stars of the upcoming action-comedy film, ‘The Wrecking Crew’, starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. Read more via The Hollywood Reporter exclusive here.
A musician, actor, and philanthropist who connects cultures worldwide through his music and message, MIYAVI is widely known for his unique guitar style, and has completed eight world tours across over 30 countries, earning the moniker “Samurai Guitarist.” To date, MIYAVI has released 13 studio albums.
In December 2018, MIYAVI launched the innovative collaboration album “Samurai Sessions Vol. 3: Worlds Collide” under Universal Music Group. This album features a remarkable lineup of U.S.-based artists, including Oscar-nominated actor Samuel L. Returning to solo projects, MIYAVI released “NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO” in 2019, which he debuted with a concert at Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium. This was followed by the 2020 album “Holy Nights.” On September 15, 2021, he released the album “Imaginary,” featuring K-pop star Kang Daniel and Grammy-winning pop artist Kimbra.
MIYAVI made his film debut in the Oscar-nominated movie “Unbroken” and has since appeared in the 2017 blockbuster “Kong: Skull Island” and the live-action adaptation of the popular manga “Bleach.” His recent filmography includes “Stray” (2019), “Maleficent 2” (2020), “KATE” (2021), and the hit animated series “Arcane.” He also served as a panelist on the Japanese version of the hit singing show “The Masked Singer.”
As a brand ambassador, MIYAVI has represented Beats headphones in Japan and starred in Moncler’s global Beyond campaign. He has been a brand ambassador for American Airlines, Gucci, McLaren, the Golden State Warriors and Dell Computers. In 2021, MIYAVI released a signature Telecaster with Fender guitars. He was selected as the face of Gucci Japan, appearing in Gucci’s Off the Grid campaign alongside rapper Lil Nas X and veteran actress Jane Fonda. MIYAVI also walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. For the past seven years, he has served as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), visiting refugee camps worldwide.

The cohesive body of work proves she’s here to redefine the alt-pop scene. Her music is a rebellious blend of pop, rock, and punk, always featuring the kind of sugar-rush hooks that demand repeat listens.

Rising Australian pop artist Oliver Cronin has teamed up with 2023 ARIA nominated Charley, for the playful new single ‘Girl Next Door’ which hears them both vying for the same girl. Additionally, he has announced that his new EP Halfway To Paradise will be released on October 3rd via WMG Australia / Warner Records. Listen to “Girl Next Door” HERE and watch the cheeky video directed by Kyle Caulfield HERE
A jubilant pop track helmed by two of Australia’s latest pop visionaries, today’s release feels fresh, exciting, and bursting with energy. Intertwined with brooding production and big synths, this song provides an anthemic soundscape that feels like a true centre-piece on the upcoming EP.
“I’ve been wanting to work with Charley on a track for years and when I finished the verse I knew I had to hit her up to jump on. I found it really cool to show a love triangle with a twist, and when she sent me back her verse I knew it would take the track to the next level. The music video was so much fun, and working with Kyle was a breeze.” says Oliver of the song.
“Oliver sent me this song a couple months ago and asked me to put a verse on it if I liked it. Turns out I loved it, and we wrote the rest of the song together and made it about wanting the same girl! I love how much of a duet it is, especially when the bridge hits. And side note, I have loved working with Oliver so much, he’s such a goofy lil superstar and it’s rare to find people that lift you up as a human and match your fun side which is so important when making music. Have to remember it’s a fun process instead of being too serious about it.” says Charley.
Halfway to Paradise represents his personal and artistic evolution since the release of his debut EP, Beautiful Nightmare. The new EP encapsulates Oliver’s experiences and growth, offering listeners a deeper insight into his journey. Alongside “Girl Next Door” the eclectic collection features the recent singles, the vulnerable “In The End,” the propulsive “Burning House” and the dark and distorting “Hello Goodbye.”
2024 has been a whirlwind year for Oliver so far which began with his sold out debut headline tour and was then heightened by partnering with Warner Records globally, working with the team that has propelled artists like Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, and Zach Bryan to stardom. The partnership was solidified during an extensive promotional trip in April which also saw him co-write with Trinidad James (“Uptown Funk”), attend Coachella, and perform showcases in Toronto and Berlin. He then traveled to Singapore to perform at Music Matters and returned to Australia just in time to attend Australian Fashion Week, where he graced the PE Nation, Mastani, and Injury shows.
Chicago native and Paper Route Empire signee Chitana returns from his three-year hiatus with his brand new single “My Turn,” out now via Paper Route Empire. This single comes from his forthcoming project, Explain Through The Pain, due later this year. Rhyming with a lilting melody, Chitana (pronounced shy-tana) searches for a way to feed his family, provide for his friends, and escaping his dangerous neighborhood: “N****s dyin’ young, a lot of sh*t done changed/Gotta ride with one, just to make it safe/Man I miss them days when you were real with me/But I know you in heaven, watchin’ over me,” he mourns. In the video, ChiTana mingles with his community, patronizing local businesses and making sure his friends know he has their backs.
Signed to Paper Route Empire by Young Dolph himself, Chitana brings a different flavor to the label’s formidable roster. “My Turn” is the first glimpse of Explain Through Pain, Chitana’s upcoming debut project and his first release under Paper Route Empire. The rapper is ready to grow his small, but impactful catalog, which includes songs like the Young Dolph collaboration “Love Me” and the romantic “4am.” With Explain Through Pain, the artist delivers on the potential that his mentor saw in him, creating a project that drips with honest emotion and reflects the reality of Chicago life.
Today, groundbreaking country artist Orville Peck teams up with GRAMMY-nominated genre-defying duo SOFI TUKKER for a new remix of his genre-blurring collaboration with Kylie Minogue and Diplo, “Midnight Ride.” Listen HERE via Warner Records.
A standout track on Peck’s recent duets album Stampede, “Midnight Ride” premiered during Minogue’s headline set at OUTLOUD Festival at WeHo Pride in June, where Peck appeared as a surprise guest. With new production by SOFI TUKKER, the disco anthem is now even more ready for the dance-floor.
Supporting the release of the star-studded Stampede—which features Willie Nelson, Elton John, Noah Cyrus, Teddy Swims, Midland and many more—Peck is currently on the road for his North American headline tour.
