Blue Note Jazz Festival: The Black Radio Experience
As the upcoming Blue Note Jazz Festival‘s Black Radio Experience nears, more developments about the weekend-long event are slowly being revealed. André 3000, one of the headlining acts, will host a series of exclusive wine cave performances across Labor Day Weekend in the beautiful Napa Valley as his backdrop.
André 3000, who is remaining steadfast in instrumental mode, will give his latest project, New Blue Sun, the live treatment at the Estate Cave at the Meritage Resort, the site of this year’s Black Radio Experience with Robert Glasper, John Legend, Common, Pete Rock, Madlib, Marsha Ambrosius and more.

The wine cave will be the venue for a run of shows featuring the Georgia native, with each day of the Black Radio Experience festival featuring three performances daily with 3000’s backing band providing the vibes and curating the sounds based on the vibe and energy of the attendees.
Those already holding festival passes will have priority access to RSVP for the wine cave performances. In addition, there will be a limited run of special ticket packages available for purchase which also includes an automatic RSVP for one of the nine shows held over the weekend.
The Black Radio Experience weekend isn’t just about music. Robert Glasper’s aim for the festival is to bring a truly authentic Black experience to the swanky Napa Valley region by featuring Black-owned wine brands, celebrity chefs, on-site product activations featuring Black-owned brands, and more.
