The bar has now been raised: Simone Biles secured the Gold for USA’s Gymnastics Team, and with it comes a new record for the 27-year-old athlete. Biles now has the most medals in USA Gymnastics history.

Biles’ gold win Tuesday (July 30) is her fifth Olympic gold medal and her 38th career medal between the Olympics and world championships.

It’s been a standout summer for Biles: Earlier this month, Netflix released part one of a docu-series chronicling her life within the sports world. The Katie Walsh directed series, titled ‘Simone Biles Rising’, was produced by Religion of Sports in association with the Olympic Channel.
Part one of the series will premiered July 17th and part two will premiere sometime this Fall. Each part consists of two 45 minute episodes.
