Apparently young White folks just can’t get enough of saying the N-word.
In the latest episode of “I Should’ve Deleted My Twitter,” new NFL draft pick Josh Allen, a 21-year-old White man from Firebaugh, California, was recently exposed for repeatedly saying the word “n*gga” in multiple tweets from 2012 and 2013. The old tweets were searched and retweeted just hours before Allen was expected to be taken high in last week’s 2018 NFL Draft.
“I dont think you n*ggas want a troubled son!” Allen tweeted in June 2012, according to Yahoo Sports.
“Niggas Trying To Get At Me” he tweeted on February 12, 2013, and ”Bout to show up these N*ggas at pong” was also tweeted by Allen, who still went on to be drafted the No. 7 overall by Buffalo Bills last week despite news leaking of his racially offensive tweets.
According to Yahoo, Allen also tweeted, “If it ain’t white, it ain’t right” bro in June 2013. All of the tweets have since been deleted.
Allen is the second famous young White man within the last two months to get caught casually using the N-word as an adolescent. Villanova senior guard Donte DiVincenzo was also exposed for tweeting n*gga in a series of tweets from six years ago.
Like Allen, it appears as if DiVincenzo wasn’t using the word maliciously during the times he tweeted it. Instead, both come off as the typical White folks who simply can’t help but imitate African-American culture. Still, it raises the question as to why is that so many young White folks feel comfortable saying the n-word?
