In November, Kodak Black was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison for falsifying information on a gun application, now the rapper says he is being mistreated in the Miami FDC correctional facility.
Back in may Kodak, 22, whose legal name is Bill K. Kapri, was arrested on his way to the Rolling Loud festival in Miami. According to Billboard, on he posted on Instagram that he is being subjected to abuse and forced drugging.
He started by explaining that he suspected he was laced with an unknown substance back on Oct. 29, that made him feel “possessed” and as if he was “slowly dying.” He then went on to detail how he was denied medical attention at the jail and a troublesome altercation with an inmate.
“This same CO who denied me medical attention, proceeded to pepper spray me which instantly impaired my vision and I was oblivious to who was punching and grabbing me repeatedly in the face,” Kodak wrote. “Even after I was on the floor, they continued to strike me and deploy more people. I was summoning for them to stop while gasping for my breath.”
Following the brawl, Kodak was taken to solitary confinement for 45 days which he says he spent in a wheelchair.
“I have been here for 45 days without commissary, hygiene, stressed out and on psych meds. Having to mourn the loss of my brother Juice WRLD behind the doors,” he continued.
While the FDC Miami has yet to release an official response to the entertainer’s claims, back in October, the Associated Press confirmed the rapper was involved in a fight that left a prison guard hospitalized.

Black was facing up to 10 years in prison for lying to feds in government paperwork, but was handed down the lighter sentence of three years and 10 months behind bars after he struck a plea deal. He had checked a “no” box on the ATF Form 4473, a firearms application, where it asked if he was under indictment for a felony, XXL mag reported. That was untrue. He was in fact under indictment in South Carolina on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
He was arrested within hours of a planned performance at a Rolling Loud concert in Miami Gardens, Fla. At the time of his arrest, he maintained his innocence, but changed his position and entered a guilty plea in August.
