SEC Network’s programming surrounding the 2019 SEC Championship Game includes more than a dozen hours of coverage from Atlanta, originating from SEC Network sets at Dr Pepper SEC FanFare at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) and on the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS).
Coverage begins Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET with the coaches’ press conferences on SEC Now, hosted by Peter Burns with analysis from SEC Network college football analysts Gene Chizik, Chris Doering and Jordan Rodgers. Viewers will hear from Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and LSU head coach Ed Orgeron heading into the conference’s championship matchup.
Immediately following is The Paul Finebaum Show Presented by Johnsonville at 3 p.m., which will include #FinebaumFriday guest appearances by Chizik, Doering and fellow SEC Network college football analysts Tim Tebow and Matt Stinchcomb, as well as wrestling legend Ric Flair, comedian Jeff Foxworthy, and SEC legends Ray Perkins (Alabama), Vince Dooley (Georgia), Karlos Dansby (Auburn) and Jevon Kearse (Florida).
SEC Now Presented by Auto-Owners Insurance will close out Friday’s programming from Atlanta at 7 p.m., with Dari Nowkhah anchoring the evening coverage with Chizik, Doering, Rodgers and ESPN/SEC Network football analyst Marcus Spears. Guests include Gator Great Javon Kearse and 2018 College Football Hall of Fame inductee Stinchcomb.
Championship Saturday kicks off with a special live edition of Marty & McGee at noon, as Marty Smith and Ryan McGee will team up to start Saturday’s festivities. The duo will welcome special guest, NASCAR driver Chase Elliott, to the set on Saturday.
SEC Nation Presented by Dr Pepper boasts an extra hour of pre-game analysis, stories and highlights, featuring host Laura Rutledge navigating the game-day discussions with Paul Finebaum, Spears, Tebow, Chizik, McGee, Rodgers and Smith. The three-hour show will begin at Dr Pepper SEC FanFare at the GWCC at 1 p.m. and shift to the field set at MBS at 3 p.m. for the final hour.
SEC Now has viewers covered post-game with Burns and Doering taking over for trophy ceremony coverage immediately following the final whistle. Rutledge will return to the desk for SEC Now Presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors at 7:30 p.m., joined by Tebow, Spears, Rodgers and McGee.
SEC Network social and digital will have wall-to-wall coverage from Atlanta, including exclusive behind-the-scenes highlights, digital content from “Mr. CFB” Tony Barnhart and sponsored Instagram Stories by Belk.
