On ESPN’s Thanksgiving Eve blockbuster doubleheader, six-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis returns to New Orleans for the first time since being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Davis makes his return to the Smoothie King Center in the 9:30 p.m. ET nightcap, as the New Orleans Pelicans host the Los Angeles Lakers. Play-by-play commentator Mark Jones, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson, and reporter Jorge Sedano will be courtside to call the action. The NBA Wednesday doubleheader tips off at 7 p.m. in Boston, exclusively on ESPN, when the Celtics host the Brooklyn Nets. Play-by-play commentator Mike Breen will call the action with analyst Doris Burke and reporter Israel Gutierrez.
Hoop Streams, ESPN’s innovative, on-site digital pregame show, will be live from TD Garden at 6:30 p.m., ahead of the Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics matchup, with host Cassidy Hubbarth, analyst and former Celtic Kendrick Perkins, and commentator Gary Striewski. The show will feature appearances from special guests and top commentators including ESPN Reporters Malika Andrews and Christine Williamson.
