Scandal fans rejoice because Kerry Washington is returning to ABC…sort of.
The actress has signed on to produce a new legal drama Reasonable Doubt for the network through her production company, Simpson Street Productions partnering with Larry Wilmore and his Wilmore Films imprint along with ABC Studios.
According to Deadline, the series is in development and is being co-executive produced by celebrity attorney, Shawn Holley.
The legal drama is written by Scandal alum, Raamla Mohamed who will also co-executive produce alongside Jon Leshay.
Mohamed just wrapped another project with Washington, co-executive producing her upcoming Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere.
