All 22 matches of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup of Nations from the Stade Lat Dior in Thies, Senegal, will be available to U.S fans exclusively on ESPN+, the leading direct-to-consumer sports streaming service. Beginning Saturday, September 28, the 16-team tournament will feature sides from WAFU’s Zone A and Zone B national associations, as well as the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
The 2019 WAFU Cup will feature a Phase 1 knockout round with winners progressing to the Phase 2 Cup competition. Teams losing in Phase 1 will compete in the Phase 2 Plate bracket. Leading to a WAFU Cup Final and a WAFU Plate Final, this format is designed to offer fans more country-level, competitive soccer, while giving every team a second chance to win a trophy.

Phase 2 for both Cup and Plate brackets will be held October 3-6, with semifinals on October 8-9. The WAFU Plate Final will be contested on Saturday, October 12, with the WAFU Cup Final on Sunday, October 13.
