ESPN Adds to MLB Postseason Impact Game Selections with Classic Cubs-Cardinals Rivalry September 27

ESPN today announced its selection for an additional MLB Postseason Impact Game. The Chicago Cubs and Anthony Rizzo, who as of Sept. 24 are four games behind the second Wild Card Spot, will visit the St. Louis Cardinals and Paul Goldschmidt, who are leading the National League Central and have clinched their playoff berth.

Play-by-play man Dan Shulman will call the latest addition to the longstanding rivalry alongside analysts Eduardo Perez and Rick Sutcliffe on Friday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and the ESPN App. This game is subject to blackout in the Chicago markets.
