The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 semifinals begins on ESPN2 Friday, Sept. 13, when Spain, featuring Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio, face Australia, featuring Joe Ingles, Patty Mills, Matthew Dellavedova, Aron Baynes, and Andrew Bogut. Rudy Gobert, Nicolas Batum, Frank Ntilikina and Evan Fournier will represent France in the second semifinals game on ESPNews when they tip off against Argentina.
ESPN+ will carry the USA’s classification game against Serbia on Thursday, Sept. 12 beginning at 7 a.m. ET. The Championship Final will air on ESPN2 Sunday, Sept. 15 at 8 a.m.
Play-by-play commentator John Brickley will call the Championship Final, the Semifinals and the third place game with analyst Tom Thibodeau. ESPN senior writer Brian Windhorst will report on the games onsite from China.
