Nelly, TLC, and Flo Rida have announced they will be hitting the road together for an epic tour across North America. The Billboard chart-topping hitmakers will join forces to bring a show like no other to outdoor amphitheater stages all summer long. Fans can expect an incredible, non-stop party with each artist delivering hit after hit all night long.
And they are teasing the tour with a special round table chat. In this roundtable chat, the tourmates are talking about their “firsts” with their music and each other’s performances.
Produced by Live Nation, the 21-city outing will kick off July 23 in Tuscaloosa, AL at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater and make stops in Atlanta, Toronto, Detroit, Austin and more before wrapping August 31 in Irvine, CA at FivePoint Amphitheatre.
T-Boz from TLC talks about the group’s ability to break gender norms as one of the few “girl groups that can rock out with men” while Nelly recounts his experience seeing TLC live for the first time in St. Louis on their tour with Boyz II Men. Flo Rida shares his first experience with TLC’s iconic music by recounting his 7 older sisters playing their music in the house. Being the youngest and the only boy in the houseade their music that much more influential to him.
Chilli from TLC also shares
her first experience with Nelly noting she just “wanted to keep dancing
and never stop” and from his unique sound she knew and states, “he’s a star”.
She looks to Flo Rida and reminisces about her first time seeing him at
his WrestleMania performance saying “you killed it”. They look back
to the craziest place they heard their music played and reflect on what
they want their fans to experience on this tour. Watch more above!
