From August 1-4, the world’s top action sports stars will take over ESPN, ABC and ESPN2 with more than 18 hours of the most unique content on the network. On Thursday and Friday, primetime coverage of the day’s finals will kick off the weekend with thrilling action from the Big Air, Street, Park, Dirt, Vert and Moto X courses. Over the weekend, coverage will switch to ABC, where the world’s top action sports stars will continue to push progression from the state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition to all of the content on ESPN’s U.S.-based media platforms, X Games Minneapolis will be televised globally in 192 countries and territories to more than 500 million homes, including live coverage in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and multiple countries in Europe, including Norway, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Sweden and U.K. X Games fans across Europe, Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia can also watch every event live and on demand on ESPN Player.
For 2019, X Games has tapped RawMotion and Kinexon to deliver real-time athlete data for Moto X QuarterPipe and all Street events. The technology will provide a variety of data points including speed, heights, distances traveled and use of course. These data points will be presented in real time during the events as part of the overall production. Jack Mitrani Leads Team of Veteran X Games Athletes and Industry Experts in Competition and Lifestyle Coverage
Host Jack Mitrani will return to steer coverage of X Games Minneapolis 2019. The team of play-by-play and analysts will each be comprised of an action sports expert and pro athlete. Brandon Graham will handle play-by-play for all skateboard events, with analysis from skateboard legends Bob Burnquist and Lyn-z Pastrana and skate personality Gary Rogers. Chris Ernst and Scotty Cranmer will handle all BMX competitions. Moto X competitions will be helmed by Jimmy Coleman, with analysis from Mike Mason and Lance Coury. In addition, sideline reporting for Skateboard will be provided by X Games Snowboard analyst Craig McMorris; Moto X by Dianna Dahlgren; and BMX by Chris Doyle. Exclusive Content Offering on XGames.com and @XGames Social Pages Brings Fans Extensive Coverage of the X Games Event and Stars
- Livestreaming & @XGames Social: Eight-and-a-half hours of coverage will be streamed live across the @XGames YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels – including the fan favorite Harley-Davidson Hooligan race. Select shows will also air on the @ESPN network in the ESPN app. Highlights from the musical performances will also air on @XGames social channels. In addition, X Games Minneapolis 2019 content will be distributed across Caffeine TV, within the SC on SnapChat show and as part of an official SnapChat Live Story.

- BEING Series: The Being Series features in-depth profiles on the world’s top action sports athletes and icons. The athletes featured in the upcoming Being Series are Chris Joslin, Colby Raha, Tom Pages and Mykel Larrin.
