Talk Shows Live from The Belmont Stakes, the Landon Collins Celebrity Softball Game
Coverage of the Subway Series Game Mets-Yanks
On Saturday, June 9, 98.7FM ESPN New York will offer fans a special superfecta, with talk shows live from The Belmont – site of that day’s attempt by Justify to win the Triple Crown, the Landon Collins Celebrity Softball Game and the Yankees at Mets Subway Series game at 7 p.m. ET.
Anita Marks and Alan Hahn of 98.7FM ESPN New York will be live from The Belmont Stakes from noon – 4 p.m. including any news and updates from the track regarding the field for the 150th running of the Belmont Stakes that afternoon. In addition, Team 98.7FM will be onsite, providing fans with prizes throughout the day. 98.7FM ESPN New York will broadcast the 150th Running of the Belmont Stakes with a one-hour show at 6 p.m.
At 4 p.m., 98.7FM’s Dave Rothenberg and Chris Canty will broadcast live from the 2nd Annual Landon Collins Celebrity Softball Game at the Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona, NY. The matchup will feature members of the New York Giants playing former Giants. The two-hour show will include guests from the game discussing the upcoming season.
Finishing the day will be The Subway Series coverage beginning at 7 p.m. featuring the Mets taking on the Yankees at Citi Field. ESPN Radio will provide play-by-play for the coverage from Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton.
