Show co-creator 50 Cent has released the first teaser for a prequel to the popular street series, tentatively titled TGE (The Golden Era).
“Power prequel TGE (The Golden Era ) you already know what time I’m on,” the executive producer wrote. “South Side ( Big Owen) #lecheminduroi The return of young Kanan STARZ.”
“The prequel is my spin-off, because I get to come back. I’m dead,” said Fif in an interview with Business Insider. “It gives a chance to show the world where all of these characters grew, so you can see the defining moments develop, the imperfections that people are attracted to at the moment. It’s exciting, man.”
The MC has is also excited to introduce the world to his highly anticipated BMF series, based on the notorious Black Mafia Family drug organization . These are just two of the upcoming projects that helped secure 50 his $150 million development deal with Starz.
“The investment we made alongside of Curtis is because it’s of a creative force, a creative businessman and we’re going to get a lot out of this business that we created together,” said Starz CEO Chris Albrecht. “Because there’s obviously a lot of consumers attracted to that brand. ”
