In her first Instagram Live broadcast since the incident, the Houston rapper tearfully opened up about the physical and emotional trauma of being shot in both feet. She also shared how she felt about people offering memes instead of support.
“It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to go make up stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot, I didn’t do sh*t,” she said.
50 Cent, who was a victim of gun violence himself, is one of the people who joked about her experience, only to recently have a change of heart.
“It sounded so crazy @theestallion i’m glad your feeling better and i hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if i knew you was really hurt sorry.,” he writes, sharing a clip of her heartfelt broadcast.
