50 Cent entered into the hip-hop industry with the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ mentality. He soon elevated his career as a mogul by venturing out into acting, TV production and partnering with companies in large endorsement deals. After inking a deal for Le Chemin Du Roi an emerging champagne company, 50 has announced a new liquor partnership where he developed Branson, a French Cognac, according to XXL.
The Queens native made the big reveal on his Instagram account Wednesday night through a series of posts. In his first post, he posed with a few bottles of the dark liquor with the caption, “KING KONG ain’t got s**t on me !!!! Cognac anyone,? #getthebag?.” In the following post, he revealed that the cognac would be his new business endeavor. “What you thought l was doing in France fool. l went to get the work,l got da plug get wit me. BRANSON Brown the finest cognac around. #getthestrap,” he wrote.
50 Cent was in France earlier this year touring cognac facilities. The trademark for Branson Cognac is owned by Sire Spirits, LLC a business that worked with the rapper to promote Effen Vodka.
