The Braxton sisters and their lovely God-fearing mother, Ms. Evelyn Braxton, are one of the most relatable families on TV. Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Trina, and the late Traci Braxton let us into their homes, and we were introduced to six personalities on the Braxton Family Values that we’ve watched evolve over seven seasons.
The Braxtons combined the best of all the familial things we love: laughter, love, good food, gospel, and did we mention laughter? We’ve also witnessed the heartbreak of divorce, death, and the effects of diseases like lupus and cancer, and every tear, sibling squabble, spin-off and meal in between. But in the end, it was the joy from their harmonies and harmonious moments that captured our hearts.

To give Braxton Family Values the flowers it deserves, check out our favorite moments over the years.
When Trina considers taking her husband Gabe back after learning that he had been unfaithful, Tamar and Toni decide to take to the piano to voice their confusion at the decision. The result is a freestyle song that belongs in the TV hall of fame.

The Braxton girls get together, and when the conversation turns to Towanda and her “baby daddy” Andre, Tamar leads the sisters into a song that is still stuck in our heads years later… “Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!”

As the family gathers together to pay their respects and say goodbye to Ms. E’s beloved dog, Jackson, Tamar shares her own way of saying goodbye. Dressed in her funeral attire, she begins to sing the newly created hymn, “Dear Dog,” and like clockwork, all of the family joins in to hilarious results.

In one of the earlier episodes of the series, the Braxton girls gather together with their divorced parents (whose relationship ended due to their father’s infidelity) and Ms. Evelyn gets a few things off her chest about what her ex-husband was doing behind the scenes.
As the baby of the Braxton bunch, Tamar often feels like she singled out for her behavior, but when her actions get her mother upset, Ms. E unleashes a read that all Black mothers can relate to.
